The VOID DIVER closed beta began at 2:00am GMT on Monday, 2 November 2026, and runs until 2:59pm GMT on Monday, 16 November. NEMO STUDIO is making up to 1,000 Steam keys available, with access claimed through the game’s official Discord rather than through the ordinary Steam demo download.

Already registered? Head to the official Discord, confirm that you have the Beta Tester role and open #cbt-key-claim. The first 1,000 eligible players to claim a key can join. Filling in the form does not reserve one.

How to join the VOID DIVER closed beta

The VOID DIVER closed beta application process involves both a registration form and the game’s Discord server. You need to use the same Discord username in the form as on the server so the team can assign the correct testing role.

  1. Open the registration form linked in NEMO STUDIO’s official Steam announcement, then enter your Discord username accurately. This is an application, not a guaranteed Steam key.
  2. Join the official VOID DIVER Discord server linked in that announcement. Check that you are using the same account named in your application.
  3. Look for the Beta Tester role and open the #cbt-key-claim channel. The channel was scheduled to open at the start of the test.
  4. Press Claim in KeyBot while keys remain. Only one key can be claimed per person.
  5. Follow KeyBot’s Steam redemption link or open Steam, choose Add a Game, then Activate a Product on Steam, and enter your key.
  6. Install the separate CBT build associated with your key. The old demo is not the November beta.

If you cannot see the claim channel, check that your Discord username matches the registration details and that the Beta Tester role has been assigned. If the key allocation has already been exhausted, the VOID DIVER closed beta registration form will not generate an extra key.

VOID DIVER beta start, end and feedback times in the UK

NEMO STUDIO gives its test times in Eastern Standard Time. Because the US changed from daylight saving time on 1 November, the UK conversion for this event is five hours ahead, in GMT.

EventUK date and time (GMT)
Beta beginsMonday 2 November 2026, 2:00am
Beta endsMonday 16 November 2026, 2:59pm
Feedback deadlineWednesday 18 November 2026, 2:59pm

How the beta feedback reward works

NEMO STUDIO plans to award a future in-game name decoration to eligible beta participants who complete its feedback survey. The developer specifically says the reward applies to people who submit the survey after the CBT ends. That is worth noticing if you want the cosmetic: playing alone is not enough.

Feedback is accepted until 2:59pm GMT on 18 November. The developer has asked particularly about the pace of character growth, rewards and difficulty, although players may also comment on combat, performance, accessibility and other parts of the experience. Find the developer’s survey through the official beta channels rather than an unofficial form shared elsewhere.

Does beta progress carry into the January release?

No. The VOID DIVER closed beta uses a separate build, and progress in it will not transfer to the demo or the finished game. That is different from the older Steam Next Fest demo: NEMO STUDIO has said that demo save data will carry into the planned January 2027 full release.

What is included in this test?

The test introduces Ming as a playable melee bruiser, additional character Traits and Skilled Levels, equipment random Options and accessory set bonuses. The BALUSHA Lounge has also been expanded with VIP interactions, staff management and facilities. A Chapter 3 campaign and new enemies are part of the build.

The VOID DIVER closed beta is a chance to try those systems ahead of launch. When you submit feedback, tell NEMO STUDIO how the new character progression, equipment rewards and dungeon difficulty felt in actual play. Specific examples will be more useful than a general score.

Can you join the VOID DIVER closed beta without a key?

No. You need a claimed Steam key to enter this test. Register through NEMO STUDIO’s form, check your Beta Tester role in Discord and use the key-claim channel while keys remain. Registering or wishlisting the game alone will not unlock the build.
