The Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition includes the full game, two themed costume packs, a digital artbook and the official soundtrack. Selected physical Deluxe versions also include a collectible metal case. The Standard Edition is the cheaper option if you only want to play Midgar Studio’s new action RPG.
Deluxe was also advertised with 48 hours of early access, although the release date has since moved to 3 December 2026. That makes it worth checking the updated access details before you order, especially on a storefront still showing November.
What comes with the Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition?

The Deluxe bonuses are the Nekaroo Costume Pack, French History Costume Pack, digital artbook and digital soundtrack. Standard buyers get the base game, while Deluxe adds these cosmetic and behind-the-scenes extras. NACON has not listed a separate story chapter as a Deluxe benefit.
The artbook brings together early Avaris concepts and finished artwork. The soundtrack features music composed by Cédric Menendez, with performances by Emi Evans and Marion Schneider. Both are digital bonuses: a physical copy of the game doesn’t automatically include a printed artbook or soundtrack CD.

NACON sells several combinations of platform, format and edition. Its website also repeats the descriptions of optional extras across some product comparisons, which can make Standard look more generous than it is. Check the actual product name and included-content details, rather than relying on a shared comparison row.
All Nekaroo and French History costumes
The Nekaroo Costume Pack has four outfits: Feline, Kittysoris, Nekanta and Wild Neko. These are cosmetic looks for the party and its feline companion, not additional characters or separate gameplay content.
The French History Costume Pack has Eline’s La Messagère, Kanta’s Le Révolutionnaire, Ysoris’s LaFayette and Nekaroo’s Le Noble Destrier. If a storefront only mentions “two costume packs”, these are the eight outfits included with the Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition.
Does the Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition include a steelbook?
The metal case is a physical bonus offered with selected boxed Deluxe versions. Digital purchases on Steam or console storefronts don’t come with a case, and you shouldn’t assume every physical retailer includes one. Look for an explicit metal-case or steelbook description in the listing.
There are physical and digital console listings, along with PC digital options. The Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition therefore isn’t one identical box across every platform: the downloadable extras and the physical packaging should be checked separately.
Does Deluxe still have 48-hour early access?
NACON’s September preorder announcement offered 48 hours of early play with Deluxe, based on the original November 5 release. The standard game is now due on 3 December 2026. The October announcement doesn’t confirm a revised UK Deluxe unlock hour, so the old November early-access date should not be used.
Midgar Studio’s Steam news also says there are no PC preorders. Instead, early postlaunch PC buyers are due a separate limited-time Legacy Costume Pack for Ysoris and the Nekaroo. The Legacy pack shouldn’t be mistaken for the two main Deluxe outfit packs or described as a PC preorder incentive.
Is the Edge of Memories Deluxe Edition worth buying?
Deluxe is aimed at players who want the costume packs, concept art and music alongside the game. If those extras aren’t of interest, Standard contains the adventure itself. There’s no announced extra story chapter exclusive to Deluxe.
