Wuthering Waves Echo Erase: How It Works, Rewards and End Date

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase runs from October 22 at 10:00 until November 9, 2026 at 03:59 server time. This limited-time Version 3.7 leisure event asks you to tap matching Echo Pieces to clear puzzle stages, rather than fight enemies or farm Echo drops.

Each stage has Easy and Hard difficulties. Easy comes first, and clearing it unlocks Hard. New puzzles are added daily, so you can work through the available boards now and return when the next set opens.

The event opened on October 22 at 10:00 server time and ends on November 9 at 03:59 server time. Check the countdown in your Events menu: server time differs by region, so a deadline quoted for another server might not match your own clock.

You need Union Level 14 to take part. Open the Events menu, choose Echo Erase and select an unlocked stage. The menu also shows which Easy challenges are complete and whether their Hard versions are available.

How to play Wuthering Waves Echo Erase

Echo Erase is a tile-clearing puzzle presented as a creation of the in-game Second Coming of Solaris. Tap Echo Pieces to remove matching pieces from the board. Your aim is to clear the stage’s puzzle, not to defeat a Tacet Discord or assemble a combat team.

Begin with Easy and look over the layout before choosing which pieces to remove. Clear the matching pieces until you’ve met the stage objective, then open Hard from the same stage set. Each day’s new puzzle follows that Easy-to-Hard progression.

Once you’ve finished a board, return to the event screen and claim its reward. If you’ve completed all the currently available puzzles, come back after the next daily unlock. Older stage sets can still be checked for missed Hard clears.

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase Easy and Hard challenges

Hard stages build on the same Echo Piece mechanic, but the layouts ask more of your matching choices. There is no Resonator level or damage requirement to improve here; focus on how the remaining pieces fit together. Completing a Hard challenge gives you another stage reward to collect.

If a Hard board is giving you trouble, work from the pieces still visible rather than following a solution intended for another layout. Reconsider which matching pieces to clear first. A good move early in one puzzle may be unhelpful in the next.

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase is separate from farming actual Echoes: it doesn’t increase Tacet Discord drop rates. For the new enemy Echoes and Sonata sets, see our Version 3.7 Echo Locations guide.

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase rewards and claiming them

The event offers up to 400 Astrite, alongside upgrade materials such as Premium Resonance Potion and Premium Sealed Tube. These are event rewards across the stages, not 400 Astrite for each board. Open the reward panel after a clear to collect the prizes you’ve unlocked.

You can see the reward conditions for each stage in the event screen. Finish the Easy board, unlock Hard and check both difficulties for outstanding prizes. This is particularly useful if you cleared a puzzle earlier but didn’t claim its reward at the time.

When does Wuthering Waves Echo Erase end?

Echo Erase closes on November 9 at 03:59 server time, ahead of the November 11 end date for several other Version 3.7 events. Finish any Hard stages and claim outstanding rewards before its own timer runs out.

Beyond the Waves: Land of Xuanfang remains open until November 11 at 03:59 server time. It rewards daily Adventure Logs and packages, rather than Echo Piece puzzle clears. If you’re working through both, start with Echo Erase because it ends first.

Wuthering Waves Echo Erase and the current banners

The Phase II Convenes for Suoming, Lucilla and Lynae run until November 11 at 11:59 server time, so their countdown is different again. Our Version 3.7 Banners guide lists the current characters and their weapons.

Before leaving Wuthering Waves Echo Erase, check the stage list for any unfinished Hard puzzles or unclaimed rewards. Both are easy to miss when several Version 3.7 events are running at once.
