WoW Neighborhood Candy is the new Hallow’s End 2026 currency collected around player housing neighborhoods. You can earn it from the Community Candy Crawl, neighborhood daily quests, the Haunted Candy Bucket and Wickerman Piñata, then exchange it at a Tricky Treat Trader for regular holiday Tricky Treats.
Candy is valuable because you can exchange it for ordinary Tricky Treats, but don’t take the first deal you see. Tricky Treat Traders offer different rates in different neighborhoods, and those rates change every day. Check several vendors if you can, especially before swapping a big stack. Hallow’s End ends November 2, 2026, so make your exchanges while the event is running.
How to farm WoW Neighborhood Candy quickly

Begin in your housing neighborhood’s Holiday Hub. If you haven’t visited before, pick up A Haunted Home from a Holiday Enthusiast and follow it to Yin Shuilan. The neighborhood hub is at /way #2352 53.8 33.6 in Founder’s Point or /way #2351 51.6 54.6 in Razorwind Shores.
For a straightforward WoW Neighborhood Candy run, collect from the Haunted Candy Bucket, complete Sugar Run and Broomstick Express, and do Ghost Busting if it’s available. Those three quests alone reward 11 Neighborhood Candy and 6 Tricky Treats. Join the next Community Candy Crawl for another 3 candy and 2 Tricky Treats, then check whether the Wickerman Piñata is ready. The piñata and hub bucket provide extra candy on top.
| Activity | Confirmed reward | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Community Candy Crawl | 3 Neighborhood Candy, 2 Tricky Treats and XP when you collect 10 Neighborhood Candy | 15 minutes every hour |
| Sugar Run / Nomi candy crafting | 4 Neighborhood Candy and 2 Tricky Treats | Once daily per character |
| Broomstick Express | 4 Neighborhood Candy and 2 Tricky Treats | Once daily per character |
| Ghost Busting | 3 Neighborhood Candy and 2 Tricky Treats | Once daily per character |
| Wickerman Piñata | Loose Neighborhood Candy, with bonus drops when it breaks | When filled; participation limits apply |
| Haunted Candy Bucket | A variable amount of Neighborhood Candy | Check periodically; more available with contribution |
Community Candy Crawl: the best timed WoW Neighborhood Candy source
Community Candy Crawl is active for 15 minutes every hour in player housing neighborhoods. Candy Buckets appear outside occupied plots in Founder’s Point and Razorwind Shores. Collect 10 Neighborhood Candy from those buckets to complete the world quest, earning 3 Neighborhood Candy, 2 Tricky Treats and XP. Focus on the candy counter, rather than assuming you must open exactly ten buckets.
If Community Candy Crawl isn’t showing, check the next hourly window rather than looking around empty plots. Start at a group of occupied houses when it begins. For WoW Neighborhood Candy farming, this is a useful timed stop between daily activities, but it cannot be farmed throughout the whole hour.
WoW Neighborhood Candy Trader: best exchange rate
The Tricky Treat Trader near the Holiday Hub exchanges your themed candy for ordinary Hallow’s End Tricky Treats. The most generous reported offer is 1 Neighborhood Candy for 5 Tricky Treats; the least generous is 5 Neighborhood Candy for 5 Tricky Treats. Look at the actual deal in the vendor window before committing. Blizzard confirms that the rates vary between neighborhoods and change daily.
The difference adds up. Exchanging 10 WoW Neighborhood Candy at the best 1-for-5 rate brings in 50 Tricky Treats; a 1-for-1 offer gives only 10. Compare your trader with friends’ neighborhoods before handing over a large stack. The offer is different between neighborhoods and resets each day, so there is no single permanently best location.
WoW Neighborhood Candy from Wickerman Piñata and Sugar Run
At the Holiday Hub, speak to Yin Shuilan near the Wickerman. Take the Sugar Run daily and use the portal to your neighborhood’s themed area, either Drustvar, Felwood or Duskwood. Speak to Nomi there, complete a candy-making task and return to contribute 10 candies to the piñata.
Once the piñata has enough candy, interact with it and choose Start Whacking. That begins a one-minute countdown; afterwards you can hit it to make candy drop. Collect the loose candy, including the extra drops when it breaks. This is one of the more entertaining ways to top up WoW Neighborhood Candy while also working towards neighborhood achievements.
Does Neighborhood Contribution increase candy?
Yes. Cleaning up wrappers, catching ghosts and spinning webs all help fill the shared Neighborhood Contribution bar. As that rises, more decorations appear and you can collect more candy near the Holiday Hub’s Haunted Candy Bucket. That gives you another reason to do the quick activities even after collecting the daily quest rewards.
For the Trick-or-Treating quest, pick up Discarded Wrappers scattered near neighborhood candy buckets. For You’re a Spider, Man, interact with a Webspinner Egg Sac, transform for three minutes and place up to ten webs. The spider transformation has a 15-minute cooldown when you finish.
What is WoW Neighborhood Candy used for?
There are three themed varieties of WoW Neighborhood Candy: Duskwood Caramel, Felwood Fudge Bite and Drustvar Choc-O-Drops. The type you get from the daily quests follows the neighborhood’s theme, but the Wickerman Piñata, Haunted Candy Bucket and ghost rewards can provide other varieties. Candy can be used in some Hallow’s End decor recipes or exchanged for Tricky Treats.
If you’re chasing the Sweet Tooth achievement, don’t focus entirely on exchanges: you need to complete all three candy-making daily quests for each theme. Our WoW Hallow’s End decorations and achievements guide explains how those requirements fit together, while the housing guide covers each quest.
