The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop gives World of Warcraft players a free Cuddly Gold-Colored Grrgle decoration to display in their Midnight home. The campaign runs from October 13 to November 3, 2026, with the little golden murloc plushie available through participating World of Warcraft streams on Twitch.
There are some important account and claiming rules that can catch people out, especially anyone playing on more than one Battle.net region. Blizzard’s UK announcement also has conflicting start times. Here’s how to get the reward, check your progress and deal with a missing Grrgle without wasting hours watching the wrong stream.
WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop dates and reward

You need four hours of eligible watch time to finish the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop. It isn’t a Twitch subscription reward, so you can earn it without paying the streamer. The campaign is scheduled from October 13 until November 3, and you must claim the completed reward in your Twitch Drops Inventory.
| Campaign detail | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Reward | Cuddly Gold-Colored Grrgle Housing Decoration |
| Campaign | October 13–November 3, 2026 |
| Watch time | 4 hours of eligible WoW streams |
| Accounts | Twitch linked to Battle.net |
| Delivery | Claim on Twitch; up to 24 hours in-game |
Blizzard lists 4pm BST in the opening paragraph of its UK announcement but 6pm BST in the detailed schedule. The US schedule’s 10am PDT corresponds to 6pm BST. The UK November 3 ending also conflicts, with 4pm GMT and 6pm GMT given in different sections. Rather than relying on an unconfirmed hour, open Twitch’s Drops Campaigns page and check the actual Gold Grrgle campaign before you start watching.
How to claim the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop
You can complete the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop in one viewing session or across several eligible channels. Linking your accounts before watching makes the process much easier, and you must collect the reward manually once your progress reaches 100%.
- Link your accounts: Open Battle.net Connections, sign in, find Twitch and select Connect. Complete the Twitch authorisation using the account you plan to watch on.
- Choose an eligible stream: Visit the World of Warcraft category on Twitch, and select a live channel participating in the Gold Grrgle Drops campaign. Not every broadcast is necessarily eligible.
- Watch four hours: Stay signed into the connected Twitch account. You can change eligible channels and keep your accumulated progress, but multiple streams don’t make it progress faster.
- Claim your Grrgle: Open Twitch Drops Inventory and select Claim after completing the four-hour requirement.
- Enter your chosen region: Log into the Battle.net region where you want the reward delivered. Blizzard sends it to the first region you log into after claiming.
- Allow for delivery: The reward may take up to 24 hours to arrive in WoW. Use the Midnight Housing feature to place the decoration.
Finishing your watch time and claiming are two different actions. The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop won’t arrive merely because Twitch shows a full progress bar; the Claim action has to be completed first.
Can you get the Gold Grrgle in WoW Classic?
No. The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop is a modern World of Warcraft Housing reward and is not available in WoW Classic. Blizzard also requires an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time, and access to the Midnight expansion’s Housing feature to use and place the item.
It’s a decoration for the House Chest, not a battle pet or a mount. You won’t find it among your companion pets. Housing collections are shared across your Warband, so the decoration is meant for your home rather than just a single character’s inventory.
Why isn’t my WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop progressing?

If the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop timer isn’t moving, first confirm that Twitch has activated the campaign and that you’re watching a participating channel. You can earn Drops in a desktop or laptop browser or through the Twitch Android and iOS apps. Twitch on game consoles, smart TVs and other TV apps cannot earn Drops.
- No campaign showing: Check Twitch’s Drops Campaigns page. Blizzard’s UK start-hour announcements conflict.
- Watching the wrong stream: Change to a World of Warcraft channel with the Gold Grrgle Drop enabled.
- Watching several streams: Only the eligible viewing time counts; extra open streams won’t speed it up.
- TV or console: Use a computer browser or the official Twitch phone app instead.
- Account mismatch: Make sure the Twitch account watching is the one connected to Battle.net.
- Password or account change: Blizzard says you may need to reconnect Twitch and Battle.net.
The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop can be completed across more than one streamer. For example, watching one eligible channel and then moving to another won’t restart the four-hour timer. Just keep using the same Twitch account and eligible broadcasts.
Gold Grrgle claimed but not showing in-game
Open your Twitch Drops Inventory and confirm the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop is marked claimed. If it is, give Blizzard up to 24 hours to deliver it. Signing into the wrong Battle.net region first matters: Blizzard sends the reward to whichever region you first enter after claiming.
You should also check Battle.net Connections if the accounts have been changed. Reconnecting your existing Twitch account can be required after password or account changes. Blizzard imposes a seven-day cooldown before linking a different Twitch account, so repeatedly changing Twitch accounts won’t help.
There’s another deadline to remember: Twitch Drops that have already been claimed expire after seven days if no Battle.net account has been linked. The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop should therefore be connected and claimed promptly, rather than being left in Twitch Inventory until long after the campaign.
Where to buy more Cuddly Gold-Colored Grrgle decorations
Once you’ve earned the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop, Blizzard allows you to buy additional copies from three housing-decoration vendors. You don’t have to watch another four hours for every plushie you want to place around your home.
| Vendor | City |
|---|---|
| Dennia Silvertongue | Silvermoon City |
| Tuuran | Stormwind, near the Trading Post |
| Gabbi | Orgrimmar, near the Trading Post |
These vendor copies are unlocked after earning the initial Twitch reward. If you’re using several rooms or decorating multiple homes, head to the vendor most convenient for your character. They’re extra decorations, not a way to skip the original Twitch claim.
Which regions can earn the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop?
Blizzard lists North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand as eligible for the WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop. The four-hour viewing requirement is the same, but delivery follows the Battle.net region you enter first after claiming.
You have until November 3 to complete the viewing requirement during the active campaign. The WoW Gold Grrgle Twitch Drop is worth claiming as soon as you finish, especially if you play across multiple regions and want to avoid having the decoration delivered somewhere you rarely use.
