Brewfest Banquet is the hourly outdoor scenario at the Brewfest grounds outside Ironforge and Orgrimmar. It is especially important in 2026 because the new red and purple Brewer transmog sets are tied to the event instead of the normal holiday vendors.
The event itself is not a walk-up activity on a fresh character. You must complete the short Gathering the Grub, Brewmaster’s Kitchen and Serving with Style chain first. Once that is done, the Banquet begins at the top of each hour and lets you choose between gathering, cooking and serving.
How the Brewfest Banquet works

Brewfest Banquet Image Blizzard Entertainment.
Brewfest Banquet starts every hour at xx:00. Speak with Gritta Brewstone on the Alliance side or Gorgrum Kegfist on the Horde side after the introductory chain, choose a role and contribute Brew Points during the six-minute preparation phase before Keggor the Fermented appears.
How to unlock the Brewfest Banquet
Gathering the Grub is the first training quest and teaches the Gatherer role by having you recover Bags of Brewfest Ingredients from Brew Thieves around the grounds. Brewmaster’s Kitchen follows with the Cook role, then Serving with Style teaches you to deliver the correct food or drink to Revelers.
You cannot join Brewfest Banquet until all three quests are complete. If the event is visible but the interaction does nothing, check that Serving with Style actually turned in on that character.
Gatherer, Cook and Server roles
Gatherers defeat Brew Thieves and bring ingredients back to the kitchen cart. Each ingredient delivery adds 25 Brew Points. Cooks use the supplied materials to make pretzels, soup or brew, and each successful meal adds 50 points.
Servers talk to Brewfest Revelers, identify what each customer wants and deliver the correct item for 25 points. During Brewfest Banquet, you can speak to the role NPC again if one station is overloaded and another needs help.
The six-minute score phase
The preparation phase lasts six minutes. The shard shares one progress score, so efficient groups spread across gathering, cooking and serving instead of leaving the kitchen starved or producing food nobody delivers.
At the end of the Brewfest Banquet work phase, scoring stops and Keggor the Fermented spawns. Defeating the boss finishes the event and awards a merchandise bag based on the shard’s score.
Banquet score thresholds and rewards
Current event data uses 2,500, 5,000 and 7,500 Brew Point thresholds. The lowest bag can include food and Brewfest Prize Tokens, the middle tier adds a chance at Brewer transmog, and the high tier adds access to Dark Iron-themed weapon rewards.
The 2026 red and purple Brewer recolors are also listed by Blizzard as Brewfest Banquet rewards. If cosmetics are your target, keep doing the hourly event rather than assuming one high-score clear guarantees a complete set.
Why the Banquet is worth doing in 2026
The Banquet combines three useful goals: holiday currency, cosmetic drops and the new Brewer recolors. That makes it more efficient than waiting on a single mount roll if you still need several categories of Brewfest rewards.
Brewfest Banquet also has a predictable schedule. Once your unlock quests are done, arriving a few minutes before the top of the hour is enough to avoid missing a cycle while you handle Coren, bar tabs or vendor shopping between runs.
