How to claim the V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack for free
The V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack giveaway opened on October 26 at 5 p.m. GMT. Stunlock Studios lists November 2 as the final day but hasn’t published an exact closing time, so it’s worth claiming the pack now rather than gambling on a midnight deadline.
Steam: how to get the free DLC
- Sign into the Steam account where you play V Rising.
- Open the Haunted Nights Castle Pack Steam page.
- Check that it says Free, then select Download, the button currently shown on Steam.
- Follow any Steam prompts, then open V Rising in your Library and check its DLC section to confirm the pack is attached to your account.
This is DLC, not another copy of V Rising. Steam explicitly says the base game is required to play the content. If Steam won’t complete the claim, check you’re signed into the right account and whether the base game is in your Library. You only need to claim the pack once, not download each furnishing individually.
PlayStation 5: how to add it to your library
- Sign into the PlayStation account where you want the pack.
- Visit the UK PlayStation Store’s Haunted Nights Castle Pack page, or search for the pack on PS5.
- The UK store currently shows Free and Add to Library. Select that option and complete any confirmation.
- Reopen the listing to check whether you own the pack. If you have V Rising installed, you can also inspect Manage Game Content on your PS5.
The V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack can be added through the PlayStation Store even if you’re not ready to play it yet. You’ll need V Rising itself to use the furnishings. You do not need PlayStation Plus to claim the DLC; the Plus requirement shown on the store page is for online multiplayer.

Two details can make the store’s list look shorter than the table: Wall Decor includes two wallpaper patterns, while the web drapes have separate pillar, wall and window versions. They’re all included in the same free DLC, so there aren’t fifteen separate claims to make.
When does the V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack free offer end?
The giveaway ends on Monday, November 2, 2026. Stunlock hasn’t provided an exact cutoff hour. Make sure you’ve pressed Steam’s Download button or PlayStation’s Add to Library option before the deadline. Putting it on a wishlist doesn’t secure the DLC.
The V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack has been offered in previous Halloween seasons, but there’s no reason to wait for a possible 2027 return. The deadline is for claiming the pack, not for placing the decorations inside your castle.
Do you keep the decorations after Halloween?
Yes. Stunlock Studios says the V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack stays on your account once claimed. You can build with its pumpkins, coffin, stained glass and other decorations in any season. They won’t vanish when the giveaway ends.
Make sure to claim it on the platform you use. Steam and PlayStation have separate store licences, so claiming it on PC doesn’t also add it to your PS5 account. If you play on both, claim it from both stores before November 2.
Why is the V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack missing or showing a price?
If the store is asking for money, double-check the name: you want Haunted Nights Castle Pack, not one of V Rising’s other paid cosmetic packs. Don’t pay expecting a refund. Open the direct store link above, sign in, and refresh the page. The official giveaway runs October 26 to November 2; prices and store availability can vary by region.
If Steam’s Download button does nothing, check the Steam account and base-game licence, then reopen the DLC page. On PlayStation, Purchased or In Library can mean you already claimed it in a previous year. If it shows as owned but isn’t recognised in-game, restart V Rising, check Manage Game Content, or use your PS5’s Restore Licences setting.
If the V Rising Haunted Nights Castle Pack is owned but you can’t find the furnishings, look in Build mode, not your character’s inventory. The coffin and small stash are cosmetic versions of existing furniture, and wallpaper, window, lighting and drape designs appear alongside the corresponding building options. A new save may need to unlock those normal castle-building categories through progression first.
