The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework changes Firing Specialist, Tactical Acceleration, Reinforce Front Line and Focus Fire in the October 15 Update 1.4.5. The changes give his firearm buffs a better uptime, make Skill 3’s support effect move with him and improve the damage potential of a gun-and-skill hybrid build.

For existing Enzo players, the useful figures are Tactical Acceleration’s new 12-second cooldown, Reinforce Front Line’s 12-metre buff radius and the 50% reduction in the round requirement for Firing Specialist. The final 1.4.5 notes also provide exact round counts and changed damage coefficients.

The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework: all four confirmed module changes

Module or skill What changed
Firing Specialist (Basic) Required rounds halved, additional damage increased; Firing Specialist now carries the Firearm ATK buff instead of Explosive Drone
Tactical Acceleration (Trigger) Cooldown reduced to 12 seconds, allowing very high uptime with sufficiently strong options
Reinforce Front Line Skill 3 follows Enzo and buffs allies within 12m
Focus Fire Higher skill damage when attacking with firearms through Skill 3

The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework: Firing Specialist and Explosive Drone

Nexon halves the number of rounds needed for Firing Specialist’s effect and increases its bonus damage. Enzo’s Firing Specialist passive now carries the Firearm ATK buff instead of Explosive Drone. You can make use of the revised setup by maintaining weapon fire and using the drone as part of your normal damage rotation.

The The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework announcement doesn’t provide an exact new additional-damage coefficient. The confirmed improvement is a shorter activation requirement and higher damage, not a specific multiplier. If you already use Firing Specialist, compare the in-game tooltip after 1.4.5 installs before changing your module priorities.

The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework: Tactical Acceleration cooldown

Tactical Acceleration now has a 12-second cooldown. Nexon says near-permanent uptime is possible with top-tier options; it does not say that every configuration keeps the effect active constantly. Check the actual duration in your equipped module’s tooltip and compare it against that cooldown.

For a team relying on frequent firearm buffs, this can reduce the gaps between activations. It makes Tactical Acceleration a more appealing choice for regular support, but your module level and other cooldown effects still influence how closely your setup approaches continuous uptime.

Reinforce Front Line changes Enzo’s Skill 3 so that it follows him and applies the buff to nearby allies within 12 metres. This is a mobile support effect rather than one that makes teammates remain beside a stationary placement.

That is the most straightforward team-play change in the The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework. Stay within range of allies who depend on the firearm buff, especially during fights that move between rooms or across a wide arena. A teammate beyond 12 metres isn’t within the confirmed radius.

The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework: Focus Fire skill damage

With Focus Fire, Nexon has substantially increased the skill damage triggered when attacking with a firearm through Skill 3. The developer now describes this as a firearm-hybrid skill DPS module. That makes it a different choice from Reinforce Front Line, which focuses on buffing nearby allies.

If you’re building for personal damage rather than team support, testing Focus Fire with your preferred firearm and Skill 3 rotation makes sense. The final 1.4.5 values raise Combat Drone damage to 1,494.0% and Small Missile damage to 5,776.9% of Skill Power.

Which The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework build is worth trying?

For team support, Reinforce Front Line offers a moving 12m buff area, and Tactical Acceleration brings a shorter 12-second cooldown. A group staying close together can make better use of the moving radius. This is the route to test first if you normally play Enzo as your squad’s weapon-buffer.

For a hybrid firearm and skill build, consider Focus Fire and the adjusted Firing Specialist alongside the Firearm ATK increase on Firing Specialist. Exact damage rankings require the release-build numbers and testing against enemies. The four module changes aren’t interchangeable, and none of the official notes establishes one universal best setup.

When is The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework available?

The update is scheduled for October 15, 2026. Nexon’s maintenance runs from 6 AM to 4 PM BST and may be extended. The new effects become usable when the 1.4.5 patch is applied and the servers are available again.

The final 1.4.5 changes are now available, including updated damage values and Reinforce Front Line’s 12-metre support radius. For other parts of the same update, see the Freyna October Rework and Onslaught Stage 5 guides.

The First Descendant Enzo October 2026 rework: final Update 1.4.5 values

The release notes confirm Firing Specialist now activates after 28 General or Special Rounds rather than 56, 7 Impact Rounds rather than 14, or 6 High-Power Rounds rather than 14. The passive’s Firearm Explosive ATK increase goes from 75% to 105% and the maximum damage multiplier from 171% to 280%. Nexon moved the previously proposed Explosive Drone Firearm ATK buff into this passive.

The final Reinforce Front Line drone range is 12 metres, up from 9 metres, not the preview’s 22.5 metres. Focus Fire raises Combat Drone damage from 574.6% to 1,494.0% and Small Missile damage from 2,221.9% to 5,776.9%. Its Explosive Drone adds a 30% Non-Attribute Skill Power buff for eight seconds.
