The First Descendant Luna Rebalance is much larger than a small damage tune. Update 1.4.3 changes Luna’s base Stage Presence, simplifies Perfect Pitch stacking, increases ammo recovery, extends multiple performance durations and substantially buffs several Transcendent Modules including Noise Surge and Singer’s Mercy.

The practical effect of The First Descendant Luna Rebalance is that Luna has more forgiving rhythm resources and stronger sustained support windows, while damage-oriented module setups receive very large number increases. Nexon is also running a Descendant Rebalance: Luna & Lepic event challenge through October 14 PDT.

The First Descendant Luna Rebalance: Stage Presence and Perfect Pitch changes

Stage Presence damage rises from 193.4% to 373.8%, while the MP penalty for a missed shot drops from 10 to 7. In The First Descendant Luna Rebalance, Perfect Pitch also changes from a 2% Skill Power Modifier increase to a 3% Skill Power increase, and its maximum stacks fall from 13 to 5.

When Perfect Pitch expires, the entire effect is no longer removed at once; only stacks are reduced. Bullet Recovery doubles from 10 to 20 and the Exclusive Weapon max ammo rises from 30 to 45, making the basic rhythm loop more forgiving.

Performance durations are longer

Exciting Performance and Enhanced Exciting Performance increase from 14.5 to 18 seconds, while Exciting Sound increases from 5 to 9 seconds. The First Descendant Luna Rebalance also extends Relaxing and Cheerful effects across similar windows, giving Luna more time to maintain support value between successful inputs.

The exact numbers differ by skill, but the common theme is less frantic buff maintenance and more generous uptime.

Relaxing Act shifts toward bigger recovery

Relaxing Act costs 10 MP instead of 15. Relaxing Performance MP Recovery jumps from 0.8% to 5%, while Enhanced Relaxing Performance moves from 4.3% to 15%. In The First Descendant Luna Rebalance, the Sound effects remove their old per-second MP recovery and instead add Shield Recovery of 5% or 10% depending on the version.

Enhanced Relaxing Sound also increases instant MP Recovery from 13% to 25%, while the listed resource cost reduction changes from 56.1% to 50%.

Noise Surge receives huge damage buffs

Noise Surge is one of the headline module changes in The First Descendant Luna Rebalance. Its enhanced surge damage rises from 288% to 1503%, enhanced damage from 296% to 2419%, the range radius from 6m to 8m and maximum expandable range from 250% to 300%.

Disturbing Noise lasts 15 seconds instead of 10 and its damage increases from 1113% to 3965%. The Largo, Crescendo and Forte effects are also reworked around fewer stacks and stronger per-stack value.

Nimble Footsteps and Singer’s Mercy improve too

Nimble Footsteps cuts Vivace max stacks from 20 to 10 but raises movement speed per stack from 1% to 2.5%, and a single stack can now provide the range increase. Singer’s Mercy extends speaker duration from 7 to 18 seconds and doubles the maximum speaker count from 3 to 6. Those changes make The First Descendant Luna Rebalance broader than one preferred module.

Players who parked Luna because her rhythm loop felt too punishing should test the new resource and duration changes before assuming their old build still represents the character.

Luna and Lepic have a dedicated event challenge

Update 1.4.3 adds the Descendant Rebalance: Luna & Lepic event challenge from after the September 17 update through October 14 at 23:59 PDT. That gives The First Descendant Luna Rebalance an immediate reason to take the changed character back into live content rather than only reading the numerical patch list.

Because several Luna systems changed at once, rebuild from the live skill descriptions and module tooltips instead of only swapping one damage module in an old preset.
