The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend is a recurring boost event running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from October 16 through November 15, 2026. It gives selected activities +20% Descendant EXP, Weapon Proficiency, Unique Arche Factor EXP, Gold and Kuiper Shards, depending on the content you play.
The bonuses are split by activity rather than applied to the whole game. Karel’s Mothership, Infiltration Operations and Sigma Sector boost character and weapon progression, Special Operations boost Gold, and Breach Tracking boosts both Gold and Kuiper Shards from enemy kills.
The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend schedule
The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend begins on Friday, October 16 and repeats each weekend until Sunday, November 15. Nexon lists the event as active every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during that period.

| Weekend 2 | October 23–25 |
| Weekend 3 | October 30–November 1 |
| Weekend 4 | November 6–8 |

Nexon uses its normal event-server schedule for the start and end times, so check the Ongoing Events panel in-game when you log in to confirm whether the boost is active.
All Descendant’s Weekend boosts
The bonuses in The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend depend on the activity. The event does not simply place +20% on every reward everywhere.
| Content | Weekend bonus |
|---|---|
| Karel’s Mothership | Descendant EXP +20%, Weapon Proficiency +20%, Unique Arche Factor EXP +20% |
| Infiltration Operations | Descendant EXP +20%, Weapon Proficiency +20%, Unique Arche Factor EXP +20% |
| Sigma Sector | Descendant EXP +20%, Weapon Proficiency +20%, Unique Arche Factor EXP +20% |
| Special Operations | Gold +20% |
| Breach Tracking | Gold +20% and Kuiper Shard +20% from enemy kills |
Best place to level Descendants during the weekend
If your priority is character progression, use The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend in Karel’s Mothership, Infiltration Operations or Sigma Sector. All three receive the same +20% Descendant EXP boost.
Your choice then comes down to what else you need from the run. An Infiltration Operation can be better if you are already farming a specific mission reward, while Sigma Sector may fit better if you need its current drops or want to progress another event objective at the same time.
Best place to level Weapon Proficiency
Weapon Proficiency gets the same +20% bonus in Karel’s Mothership, Infiltration Operations and Sigma Sector. That makes The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend useful for levelling a weapon while you are already farming one of those activities for materials or Transcendent Weapon drops.
Use the weapon you actually want to level during the boosted content. The event does not provide a separate consumable or claim item; the extra proficiency is tied to the eligible activity while the weekend event is active.
Where to farm Gold during Descendant’s Weekend
For Gold, The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend points to two different routes. Special Operations receive a straightforward +20% Gold boost, while Breach Tracking gives +20% Gold when enemies are defeated.
If you also need Kuiper Shards, Breach Tracking is the more useful overlap because the same enemy-kill bonus applies +20% Kuiper Shards as well. If Gold is the only target, compare the content you can clear comfortably rather than assuming one activity is always faster for every account.
Where to farm Kuiper Shards
Breach Tracking is the Kuiper-specific part of The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend. Enemy kills there receive +20% Kuiper Shards during the active weekend window.
The Kuiper bonus is not listed for Special Operations, Infiltration Operations, Sigma Sector or Karel’s Mothership. If Kuiper is the reason you are playing the event, Breach Tracking is the content Nexon specifically boosts.
Does Descendant’s Weekend stack with Battlefield Monster Hunter?
The two events can be active at the same time because The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend runs on weekends throughout the wider October–November event window, while Battlefield Monster Hunter rotates its +15% Transcendent Weapon acquisition bonus daily.
The bonuses affect different things. Descendant’s Weekend boosts EXP, proficiency, Gold or Kuiper in named content, while Battlefield Monster Hunter improves Transcendent Weapon acquisition in two selected activities each day. If the daily weapon boost lands on content that also has a weekend bonus, you can work on both targets in the same session.
When does Descendant’s Weekend end?
The final The First Descendant Descendant’s Weekend runs from November 13 through November 15, 2026. Nexon lists November 15 as the last Sunday in the recurring event period.
After that final weekend, the separate Battlefield Monster Hunter and Accelerate Research events continue until November 16, so not every October 15 update event ends at the same time.
