TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes are live, buffing Blossom and Sprykin while cutting the Elderwood (9) bonus health. Riot published the patch notes on November 3, 2026, with champion, Augment and Wisp adjustments alongside the standalone-client launch.
If you’ve been using the same Enchanted Wilds boards since 18.5, check the breakpoints before committing. Deep Blossom and ranged Sprykin setups get stronger, while Elderwood (9) loses much of its bonus HP. There are also specific buffs to Nidalee and Malphite, plus a few Augment and Wisp price changes.
TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes: all trait buffs and nerfs
Here are the exact before-and-after trait values in Patch 18.6. The lower Blossom and Sprykin breakpoints are unchanged.
| Trait | Old value | New value |
|---|---|---|
| Blossom AD/AP | 12/30/50/55% | 12/30/55/65% |
| Elderwood (9) bonus HP | 25% | 10% |
| Sprykin ranged BFF AD/AP | 15/28/33% | 15/30/38% |
Blossom receives buffs at its upper two breakpoints, rising from 50% to 55% and from 55% to 65% AD/AP. Sprykin now grants 30% and 38% ranged BFF AD/AP at the top two values, up from 28% and 33%. These improvements particularly matter on deep trait boards using Emblems.
Elderwood (9) takes the big hit. The bonus-health figure drops from 25% to 10%. Don’t confuse this with the previous 18.5 nerf to Elderwood’s summon bonus. Those are different mechanics, and the TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes target the nine-piece HP bonus.

Champion buffs in TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes
The champion buffs go to Kobuko, Rek’Sai, Murkwolf, Malphite, Nidalee and Sentinel. Kobuko’s spell healing rises from 285/335/480 to 300/350/550. Rek’Sai’s rises from 10/14/20 to 10/16/24. Three-star Murkwolf’s empowered attack gains 20 AD, from 160 to 180.
Malphite gains shields of 750/925/2000 instead of 735/885/2000, and its AP-form spell damage improves from 40/60/2000 to 100/150/2000. Sentinel gets a shield HP ratio increase from 10% to 12%.
AD Nidalee now heals 325/550/2000 instead of 300/450/2000, and its third-cast damage bonus rises from 125% to 140%. AP Nidalee gains empowered attack damage, from 185/275/2000 to 195/295/2000, and third-attack damage, from 330/500/3000 to 350/525/3000.
Kobuko and Rek’Sai get more staying power early on, while Murkwolf improves only at three stars. These buffs make them more worth considering, but items and your current shop still matter more than chasing a unit just because it changed.

Augment changes: Unrivaled, Shopping Spree and more
The TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes raise Clockwork Accelerator attack speed per proc from 10% to 12%. Plot Armor base resistances move from 8 to 10, and Shopping Spree grants 7 starting gold instead of 6.
Unrivaled is buffed: Rengar heal share doubles from 25% to 50%, and Kha’Zix mana share rises from 50% to 70%. Embiggen is nerfed, reducing the Pixie’s bonus AD/AP from 50% to 35%. These are 18.6 changes, separate from the earlier 18.5 mid-patch Kha’Zix nerfs.
Wisp prices after TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes
Curio Cart Emblems now cost 17 instead of 15. Middle Path rises from 4 to 5, and its upgrade rises from 3 to 4. These are Wisp prices, not the cost of champions in your regular shop.
Neither option was removed. You can still buy them, but the higher price makes it more important to consider your remaining economy before committing to a Wisp.
Blossom, Gambler’s Blade and Choncc bug fixes
The TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes also fix misleading shop offers. Moonrise and Solar Gift Wisp upgrades won’t appear when Blossom is inactive. Gambler’s Blade no longer grants gold during PVE rounds.
Choncc or Treat: Solo Leveling has been disabled because of a bug. Other quality-of-life fixes include clearer Buy XP and Reroll hover states on PC, more readable chat and the return of the /Deafen command.
Does Patch 18.6 change the TFT launcher?
Yes. The TFT standalone client launched with the same update. Riot warned that Patch 18.6 is a much larger download than usual and could take longer to roll out across PC and mobile. This is separate from the trait and unit values discussed here.
Riot plans further client work in Patch 18.7 and beyond. That means a new launcher, not a separate account or a reason to stop using the Riot login you already have.
TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes FAQ
Was Elderwood deleted? No. Elderwood (9) still exists; its bonus health falls to 10%.
Did Blossom receive buffs? Yes. The two highest AD/AP values are now 55% and 65%.
What about Sprykin? Its ranged BFF AD/AP increases at the second and third values to 30% and 38%.
Does Gambler’s Blade still give gold against monsters? No. The PVE gold drops were removed in 18.6.
For the TFT Patch 18.6 balance changes, the most useful takeaway is simple: high-investment Blossom and ranged Sprykin boards are stronger, while the nine-piece Elderwood health bonus is weaker. Check those breakpoints before spending on a trait Emblem.
