Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust is a Halloween version of CheckPoint with 5v5 melee-only matches on Fort and Stadium. Firearms are disabled, while match XP is doubled and Battle Pass XP gets a 50% bonus.

The playlist opened on 29 October and runs until 5 November 2026. There’s a separate questline for in-game rewards and the Mask Off achievement, so you’ll want to check the tasks before the event ends.

How to play Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust

Launch Escape from Tarkov: Arena and select CheckPoint: Bloodlust from the available modes. It is based on the usual 5v5 CheckPoint format, but everyone fights with melee weapons. You won’t have access to firearms in this playlist.

The event plays on Fort and Stadium. Choose the Bloodlust playlist rather than ordinary CheckPoint if you want the Halloween rules, its bonus XP and progress towards the limited-time tasks.

Players wear horror slasher-style masks and fight with knives or other melee weapons. Look at the event loadout and task screens before queuing, particularly if you’re working towards the Mask Off achievement.

Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust melee-only rules

With firearms completely disabled, positioning and timing matter more than ranged loadouts. Stay close enough to support teammates, and avoid charging into several opponents on your own.

CheckPoint is built around teams fighting over control points. Bloodlust keeps the focus on the team objective. Kills can help clear a point, but your side still needs to play the match rather than treating it as a free-for-all knife fight.

Try to approach an objective with another teammate, force opponents away from it and use the space you’ve gained. The melee-only format rewards coordinated pushes far more than running straight into the middle of the other team.

Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust XP and Battle Pass bonuses

Battlestate confirms double match XP in CheckPoint: Bloodlust. Its Halloween announcement also describes double XP for kills. That makes the playlist an opportunity to progress while working through the event tasks.

Battle Pass progress gets 1.5x XP, or 50% more than normal. That’s a separate boost from double match XP; it doesn’t mean your Battle Pass level doubles after every game.

These bonuses belong to Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust. The faster skill levelling introduced in the main Escape from Tarkov Seasonal mode is a different change in patch 1.3.0.0.

Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust Mask Off achievement

The Halloween questline rewards players with in-game cash and the Mask Off achievement for completing the special event tasks. Open the task menu in Arena and work through the Bloodlust objectives while the playlist is running.

Track the individual event tasks in the current Arena interface. They are the checklist for earning Mask Off, so check each objective and claim its reward before starting the next. The official event announcement gives the overall rewards rather than a full task-by-task count.

Mask Off belongs to Arena, not the infected Factory and Lab questline in the main Escape from Tarkov game. The two Halloween events have different modes and rewards, so complete the appropriate tasks in the correct game.

When does Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust end?

Battlestate lists Thursday 5 November 2026 as Bloodlust’s final day. No exact closing hour was published with the announcement, so finish the quests early rather than assuming you’ll have the whole evening in your time zone.

That date applies to the Arena playlist. Battlestate hasn’t given the main game’s Infected Factory and Infected Lab event the same confirmed deadline, so don’t treat the two schedules as interchangeable.

For Tarkov Arena CheckPoint Bloodlust rewards, join the named playlist, complete the event task chain and claim what you’ve earned by 5 November. Standard CheckPoint will not give you the same melee-only Halloween matches or temporary XP bonuses.
