The rarity is essential. An ordinary fish will not substitute for an Eternal Ghost Fish, and a different pumpkin is not a Divine Voidseer Pumpkin. Check both the exact pet name and rarity in your collection. Voidseer Pumpkin is listed as a Divine pet from the Abandoned Manor collection. Check that the one you have matches the required rarity.
Where to find the Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch altar
Start at normal Spawn and enter the Halloween Dimension portal beside the Trails Shop. Follow the Halloween map towards Abandoned Manor, one of the Graveyard, Haunted Swamp and manor biomes. The mansion’s exterior gate is near rocks where Echo’s Old Photograph collectible appears. Enter the grounds and look for the locked manor house.
For Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch, you cannot simply use the Pumpkin King portal, which is outside, to access this fusion. Obtain the Manor Key first. Once the house is unlocked, walk up the staircase and into the upper room with purple lights, books and four labelled pedestals. This is the new Halloween altar, not the older fusion shrine.
How to get Manor Key for Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch
If you do not have a Phantom Express Ticket, complete Echo’s Memories by finding his rabbit toy, bone, collar and old photograph and returning them to his witch-hat hut. Speak to the Ghost Fisherman afterwards, take the Haunted Rod and complete his underwater obstacle course. The treasure chest at the end contains the train ticket.
Board the Phantom Express at its Halloween station when the countdown reaches an arrival, reported about every half-hour. At Forgotten Town, find the lake’s glowing green whirlpool and enter to reach a hidden fishing area. Equip the Haunted Rod, speak to Gus if desired and continue fishing until you catch the Manor Key. There is no verified key drop chance or guaranteed number of casts.
Follow the green sewer pipe out and return to the Abandoned Manor entrance. Different gameplay recordings describe the outer gate and front door interactions differently; use the visible Manor Key lock prompt on your server. Enter the house and climb the stairs to the fusion pedestals.
How to make Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch with a friend
Bring the total of two Eternal Ghost Fish and two Divine Voidseer Pumpkins into the upstairs room. Have each participant agree on the pets they’ll contribute. Hold a required pet and interact with the pedestal displaying its name. A completed pad changes from Missing to Ready. Repeat this for all four positions.
Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch uses a two-player fusion. Have each person carry one Eternal Ghost Fish and one Divine Voidseer Pumpkin, then fill the corresponding two pedestals. When all four show Ready, follow the altar’s activation prompt.

Available footage does not conclusively establish whether fusion refunds the contributed pets, how many eggs each contributor receives or whether a repeat cooldown exists. Treat the offered Eternal and Divine pets as valuable and read the confirmation on the current altar before placing them. If you’re working with a friend, agree on the risks and who expects to receive the output.
There is also no verified extra Candy Corn price for the four-pedestal recipe. The requirements documented here are the four specific pets and access to the altar; rely on any additional current in-game prompt instead of assuming a published price or refund rule.
Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch versus Pumpkin King
Pumpkin King is a separate timed boss activity accessed through a portal outside the manor house. Players report openings at roughly :15 and :45 each hour. Victories advance Boss Mastery and can award milestone pets or a Pumpkin Scythe weapon. They do not replace either of the two Eternal Ghost Fish or Divine Voidseer Pumpkins needed here.
The Phantom Express’s Spectral Mutation and Candy Corn shop are different reward routes too. Owning a Spectral Mutation consumable is not the same as owning an Eternal Ghost Fish. You must present the actual pets requested by the fusion pedestals, not materials with a similar Halloween theme.
Why Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch fusion is not working
If a Steal an Egg Cursed Monarch pedestal still says Missing, inspect its label, select the matching pet and check the rarity before interacting again. If all four pads show Ready but the fusion has not started, check the live co-op interaction or participant requirement. Do not remove a correctly placed pet just to make a guessed combination from an unrelated video.
If the manor is locked, check for the key in your inventory; return to Gus’s underwater fishing area if needed. If the Phantom Express is missing, consult its station countdown. If the entire manor interior or fusion room is missing, join a freshly updated Halloween Part 2 server before retrying.
