Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush is a limited item from the Halloween collaboration between Facepunch and Discord, available from 22 October to 5 November 2026. Eligible monthly or yearly Discord Nitro subscribers can redeem it with Discord Orbs through the Rust Game Shop. Other players can buy it at the displayed shop price during the promotion.
The Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush is a placeable, rotatable and stackable base decoration that provides 70% comfort when you’re close to it. You don’t earn it from the Candy Hunt, mummies or Twitch Drops. The Discord Game Shop handles the claim, with the item delivered to the linked Rust account.
Who can claim the Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush with Discord Orbs?
Discord’s current Game Shops FAQ says the offer covers monthly and yearly Nitro subscriptions. Nitro Basic, trial subscriptions and other subscription types do not qualify for the Orbs redemption. Existing Nitro subscribers are included if their subscription meets the terms, and players who subscribe on mobile remain eligible as long as they redeem through Discord desktop or web.
Discord’s official offer is listed from 22 October at 11 AM Pacific to 5 November at 11 AM Pacific. That time comes from Discord’s Game Shops terms, while Facepunch’s Halloween announcement confirms the dates without an exact end hour. Look at the store listing if you’re close to the cutoff.
How to find the Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush in Discord
On the Discord desktop app or browser, open Shop, choose Game Shops and select Rust. You can also use the Game Shop tab in the official Rust Discord server. Find the Zombie Wumpus listing, inspect the Orb or monetary price shown to your account and follow the checkout prompts.
If your paid Nitro subscription qualifies and you have enough Orbs, select the Orb claim option. The shop shows the current balance and requirement; don’t rely on a guessed Orb price from another account. The Orb redemption is for your own purchase, not a gift, and completed Orb claims are final.
Does the Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush cost money?
The Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush is not universally free. Eligible Nitro subscribers may use earned Discord Orbs, which can come from Discord Quests and Nitro rewards. Discord also allows all users, including non-Nitro subscribers, to purchase the item at its normal Rust Game Shop price during the campaign. The two options have different eligibility rules.
The special Orbs redemption applies to self-purchases only. Discord says it cannot be used to pay for gifts sent to other users. If your account only offers a normal cash purchase, check the Nitro eligibility rules before assuming something has broken. Nitro Basic and trial accounts do not qualify for this particular Orbs promotion.
Where do claimed Wumpus items go in Rust?
The item goes to your linked Rust PC/Steam account. If you have not connected it yet, complete the account-linking prompts during checkout. Discord’s Rust guidance also recommends launching the game, opening Social in the bottom-right corner and selecting Find your friends on Discord if you need to reconnect.
Facepunch describes it as an interactive base decoration: it can be rotated, stacked and placed around the base. It provides 70% comfort while a player is nearby. That is a gameplay benefit, but the developers do not describe it as a combat weapon or as something you can acquire from a Halloween mummy.
Why is the Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush offer missing?
If the Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush doesn’t offer an Orbs claim option, verify that you have a qualifying paid monthly or yearly Nitro subscription, enough Orbs and a supported account. Discord confirms that mobile Nitro subscribers must sign in through its desktop or browser version to access this promotion, even if they originally subscribed through their phone.
If the listing is missing, check whether the 22 October to 5 November promotion is still running and that you are using the desktop or web shop. Discord’s offer terms govern any Nitro eligibility checks; a Twitch Drops Inventory claim cannot unlock this item.
Is Zombie Wumpus part of Rust Halloween 2026?
The Rust Zombie Wumpus Plush arrives alongside the PC Halloween event, which includes Candy Hunt, Frankenstein’s Monster and random rifts. Those seasonal activities end on 5 November too, but the plush has a separate Discord purchase or redemption process.
The separate Rust Twitch Drops Round 54 campaign rewards skins for watching eligible streams until 1 November. Wumpus is not part of those drops, and the one-day Twitch Rivals Spooky Backpack is a different promotional item.
