RuneScape MTX items removed November 23 include Treasure Hunter lamps and stars, protean materials, portable skilling stations, Silverhawk equipment and other legacy skilling boosts. Jagex says affected items must be used before the game update on Monday, 23 November 2026.

Not every microtransaction-related item is being deleted. Jagex has three categories: Remove, Revise and Retain. Only items marked for removal are due to be converted automatically into GP at a lower rate after the Well of Restoration event. Check where your items sit before spending or destroying anything.

RuneScape MTX items removed November 23: the main list

  • Silverhawk boots, feathers and down
  • Knowledge bombs, advanced pulse cores, cinder cores and dwarven tools

Jagex is keeping the Spring Cleaner while consolidating springs and tight springs. Magic Notepaper and Enchanted Notepaper are also being combined. The Brooch of the Gods will lose the benefit tied to portable skilling stations once those stations are removed.

Are Marketplace Radiant Stars included in RuneScape MTX items removed November 23?

No. Jagex’s specific exception is for Marketplace Radiant Stars. The general Treasure Hunter lamp-and-star removal doesn’t mean that every star from every source vanishes. Check the original source and the category assigned to the item in your bank.

Treasure Hunter was already removed on 19 January 2026. November’s deadline concerns leftover items people still own, rather than another closure of the Treasure Hunter activity.

What happens to RuneScape MTX items removed November 23 if unused?

Before the deadline, Jagex plans a November Double XP event followed by the Well of Restoration. During the Well, players can donate eligible items for a fixed GP payment. The GP-per-item amounts haven’t been published in the September plan.

After the Well ends, remaining removal-category items will automatically convert into GP at a lower rate. This only applies to the category Jagex says will be removed, not every item listed under Revise or Retain. See our Well of Restoration guide for the order of events and the exclusive Restorer title.

If you want to get training value out of an XP item, use it during November Double XP. If you’d rather get gold for something eligible, watch for the Well. Either way, RuneScape MTX items removed November 23 need attention before that day’s update begins, not at the end of the calendar day.

How to find RuneScape MTX items removed November 23 in your Bank

Jagex added a Clean Up bank filter on October 26 with two categories: MTX Item Removal and MTX Item Change. Open the Bank and inspect both. They identify items scheduled to disappear and items whose functions will change.

The filter initially had a serious usability problem: left-clicking could destroy items instead of withdrawing them. Jagex hotfixed it at 13:53 BST on October 26. The default left-click action became Withdraw, but Destroy could still appear first in the context menu. Check the action displayed before clicking a valuable stack. Our bank-filter guide explains the warning.

RuneScape MTX items removed November 23: Heartments and exceptions

Heartments have a separate shop reopening during the Well, after which remaining Heartments are due to become GP. H’oddments were tied to the Harvest Hollow Halloween event, with a different expiry; don’t wait until November 23 to deal with them.

An item in MTX Item Change isn’t necessarily disappearing. Keep revised items separate from the consumables you’re planning to use or exchange, and check the official item list before taking irreversible action.

The MTX cleanup is going ahead independently of the cancelled Reignited relaunch. Check your Bank before the deadline, use what you need, and compare the Well’s official GP rates when they become available.
