Roblox Wallet is a new creator financial account built into Creator Hub, designed to make Roblox earnings easier to receive, track and use. Instead of relying only on manual DevEx cash-out requests, eligible creators will have future qualifying earnings paid into Roblox Wallet automatically in US dollars once those transactions clear.
The first the new system rollout begins in December 2026 for invited US-based independent creators aged 18 or older. Roblox plans to expand the system throughout 2027 to more creator types, groups, businesses, younger eligible creators with parental consent and international regions.

How Roblox Wallet works
Wallet appears under the Finances section of Creator Hub and is provided through Roblox’s financial partner. Eligible creators will be invited to apply, complete identity verification, enable required two-factor authentication and provide the tax information needed for the account.
Once the account is active, future qualifying Creator Payments are paid in USD at the same underlying DevEx rate Roblox uses today.
How often Roblox Wallet pays creators
Roblox says cleared earnings will be paid into the new system every business day. That removes the need to submit a new cash-out request each time money becomes available.
Daily payouts do not mean every player purchase settles immediately. Individual transactions can remain on hold for up to 30 days before they clear and become available in Wallet.
What you can do with Roblox Wallet money
Available the account funds can stay in the account, be transferred to a bank or be used for supported on-platform spending. Roblox also plans to connect the balance to Roblox Card during 2027.
Creators will also be able to buy Robux from the new system at the DevEx rate of $0.0038 per Robux, plus tax where applicable.
Transaction tracking in Creator Hub
Creator Hub will show daily payout totals and the virtual sales that contributed to them. Roblox says creators can filter, sort and export Wallet transaction data for bookkeeping and business workflows.
For virtual sales, creators can also see purchase records that can help with player support.
What happens to existing Robux
Opening the account does not automatically convert an old Robux balance. Previously earned Robux remains in the account and can stay eligible for DevEx while that program is still available in the creator’s region.
That gives creators time to handle older Robux separately while new qualifying earnings start flowing through the new system.
Roblox Wallet and the future of DevEx
DevEx will continue during the transition. Roblox currently expects to move away from DevEx in the United States around mid-2027, while other regions keep it for longer until Wallet is fully available there.
Roblox says creators will receive notice before regional DevEx access ends.
Why Roblox Wallet is a bigger change than faster DevEx
The account also changes how creators see their finances. Instead of one cash-out request representing a large block of prior activity, the new transaction tools are designed to show the sales behind each payout.
That makes the new system much closer to a creator business account than a faster version of the old DevEx button.
Who benefits most from the new payout model
Solo creators will notice the simpler cash-out flow, but the bigger change may be for studios that treat Roblox revenue as operating income. Frequent cleared payouts and transaction exports make it easier to match incoming money against contractor invoices, software costs and other development expenses.
The account is not a replacement for bookkeeping software, but it gives creators better source data than a single DevEx cash-out covering a large block of earlier activity.
