The Pokémon RUN 30 wild encounters have been revealed, giving Trainers a huge selection of starter Pokémon to catch throughout the upcoming Pokémon GO event.
Taking place across multiple locations in Asia between October 2026 and January 2027, Pokémon RUN 30 features one of the largest starter Pokémon lineups ever seen during a live Pokémon GO event.
Whether you’re hunting Shinies, collecting missing Pokédex entries or simply stocking up on Candy, there will be plenty of Pokémon worth catching throughout the event.

The Pokémon RUN 30 Wild Encounters lineup includes starter Pokémon from multiple generations, ranging from the original Kanto trio all the way through to the Paldea starters.
Can The Pokémon RUN 30 Wild Encounters Be Shiny?
Yes.
Niantic has confirmed that many Pokémon appearing during Pokémon RUN 30 can be encountered in their Shiny forms if you’re lucky.
For collectors and Shiny hunters, this could make the event particularly valuable.
With so many starter Pokémon available in a single event, players will have plenty of opportunities to search for rare colour variations while exploring the event area.
Which Pokémon Should You Prioritise?
While every Trainer will have different goals, several Pokémon stand out from the Pokémon RUN 30 wild encounter pool.
Newer starter Pokémon such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly are likely to attract plenty of attention, especially from players still working towards their final evolutions.

One of the biggest highlights is the appearance of Unown N, Unown R and Unown U through Incense, giving collectors another reason to participate.
Combined with bonuses such as 10× XP for spinning new PokéStops and half Hatch Distance, there is plenty to keep Trainers busy throughout the event.
