The Pokémon RUN 30 Pokémon GO event has officially been announced, bringing exclusive encounters, special Timed Research and generous XP bonuses to Trainers across Asia.
Running between October 2026 and January 2027, Pokémon RUN 30 will take place in multiple countries including the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong. The event combines Pokémon GO gameplay with real-world running activities, while rewarding players with event-exclusive research and a huge selection of starter Pokémon encounters.
For Trainers lucky enough to attend, Pokémon RUN 30 could become one of the most rewarding live Pokémon GO events of the year.
What Is Pokémon RUN 30 Pokémon GO Event?

Pokémon RUN 30 Pokémon GO is a special in-person Pokémon GO event designed to encourage Trainers to get moving while exploring designated event locations.
Players attending the event will gain access to unique bonuses, exclusive Timed Research and increased Pokémon spawns throughout the event area.
One of the biggest attractions is the large number of starter Pokémon available during the event, alongside rare Unown encounters through Incense.
The event will be hosted across several countries, giving Trainers throughout Asia multiple opportunities to participate.

A huge collection of starter Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during Pokémon RUN 30 Pokémon GO

Many of these Pokémon can also be encountered as Shiny Pokémon if you’re lucky. Pokémon RUN 30 Pokémon GO Incense Encounters

Incense will attract additional Pokémon throughout the event.
Alongside the starter Pokémon listed above, Trainers may also encounter:
- Unown N
- Unown R
- Unown U
The appearance of multiple Unown forms is likely to make Pokémon RUN 30 particularly appealing for players looking to expand their collections.
As with the wild encounters, several Incense Pokémon may also appear as Shiny variants.
Pokémon RUN 30 Event Bonuses
Several bonuses will be active throughout the event.
These include:
- 2× Incense duration (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)
- 10× XP for spinning new PokéStops
- 2× XP for spinning PokéStops
- 1/2 Hatch Distance
The standout bonus is undoubtedly the 10× XP awarded for spinning new PokéStops.
For Trainers travelling to a new city or attending the event for the first time, this bonus could provide a significant boost towards leveling up.
Combined with reduced Hatch Distance, Pokémon RUN 30 offers strong rewards beyond just Pokémon encounters.
Pokémon RUN 30 Timed Research Rewards
Players attending the event area will receive access to two separate Timed Research opportunities.

- 16,026 XP
- 2,026 Stardust
- 1 Incense
- 5 Poké Balls
- Pikachu encounter
- One random starter Pokémon encounter
This Timed Research expires shortly after the event ends, so Trainers will need to complete it before the deadline.
Pokémon RUN 30 Timed Research: After The Run
Rewards include:
- 15,026 XP
- 2,026 Stardust
- 15 Poké Balls
- 1 Premium Battle Pass
- Pikachu encounter
- One random starter Pokémon encounter
This second research line remains available for up to seven days after the event concludes.
