Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area is the new dedicated Training Area for collecting Pokémon Eggs after Ver. 2.73.0 changed the old reward routes. Eggs no longer drop from the Main Story or the other normal Training Areas, so players looking for Eggs after the update need to move to this new area.
The Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area solves an immediate returning-player problem: nothing is wrong with your Main Story rewards if Eggs have suddenly disappeared. The change is intentional, and the official update specifically says Eggs were removed from those older sources when the dedicated Egg Area was added.
Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area: how to get Pokémon Eggs now

- Update Pokémon Masters EX to Ver. 2.73.0 or later.
- Open the Explore menu.
- Go to Training Area.
- Open the new Egg Area.
- Complete the available Egg Area battles.
- Check your Egg Box and Day Care after receiving Eggs.
The exact Egg drops available can depend on the current Egg Area setup, so use the battle reward preview before spending stamina or skip tickets on a specific stage.
Why Eggs disappeared from Main Story rewards
Ver. 2.73.0 changes the reward structure so completing the Main Story no longer gives Eggs. The same removal applies to other Training Areas that previously had a chance to provide them.
That means repeatedly clearing an old Main Story stage will not fix the issue. The Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area is now the intended permanent location for normal Egg collection.
Where is the Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area?
The new Egg Area sits inside Training Area. If it is missing, first confirm that the app has updated to Ver. 2.73.0 or higher and that the latest game data has finished downloading.
Players returning after a long break may also need to clear enough early progression to access the normal Training Area menu before they can use the dedicated Egg stages.
What should returning players stop farming?
Stop using Main Story and ordinary Training Area battles specifically for Egg drops. Those routes can still have their own useful rewards, but Eggs are no longer part of their normal reward purpose after the update.
This is one of the biggest practical changes in the September update because older Pokémon Masters EX advice can now send players to stages that simply cannot award Eggs anymore.
Does the update remove Eggs from the game?
No. Eggs themselves remain part of Pokémon Masters EX. Only the acquisition route has changed, with the new dedicated Egg Area taking over from Main Story and miscellaneous Training Area drops.
Your existing Egg Pokémon and Egg-related progression are not described as being removed by the update. The change is about where new Eggs are obtained.
Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area and older Egg Events
The permanent Egg Area should not be confused with limited Egg Events from older versions of the game. Event-specific stages can have their own rules when they return, while the new Training Area provides the updated normal route.
Always read the current event notice before assuming an event Egg stage works exactly like the permanent Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area.
What else changed in Training Area?
The same update adds Chewy Lucky Cookies as battle rewards for the Lucky Skill Area. That is separate from the Egg move, but it is another reason returning players may notice that Training Area rewards look different after Ver. 2.73.0.
Battle Villa and Main Story Hard were also removed in the wider update, so the Egg Area is part of a larger restructuring rather than an isolated reward tweak.
Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area not showing
Check the app version first. The official update says the changes require Ver. 2.73.0 or higher, and the exact time an app-store update appears can vary between players.
If the game is fully updated and Training Area is available but the Pokémon Masters EX Egg Area is still missing, restart the app and allow any required data download to finish before treating it as an account-specific bug.
