Overwatch EVE Protocol Skins: D.Va, Widowmaker and More

The Overwatch EVE Protocol crossover brings five character-inspired skins to Blizzard’s hero shooter in November 2026. Widowmaker becomes EVE, D.Va becomes Lily, Freja takes on Raven, Vendetta is Tachy, and Soldier: 76 dresses as Adam. D.Va’s Lily outfit is an Ultra skin with effects that go beyond a simple costume swap.

The collaboration began on November 3, but Blizzard’s published end dates differ between its homepage and midseason news story. If you’re planning to buy a skin, check the in-game shop countdown rather than relying on the later date alone. Here are the five confirmed pairings and what the developer has actually said about them.

Those five pairings are the confirmed Overwatch EVE Protocol lineup. They aren’t new playable Overwatch heroes: each is a cosmetic look for an existing character. Blizzard hasn’t presented the collaboration as a free hero unlock or as a new separate game mode.

What makes D.Va’s Lily Ultra skin different?

D.Va is the standout in the Overwatch EVE Protocol collection because Blizzard calls Lily an Ultra skin. It features a custom kill effect, reactive details seen in first-person and third-person, and a special Hello emote inspired by EVE’s animations. Tokki also changes appearance to draw on Providence, the final boss from Stellar Blade.

That means you get more than a recoloured D.Va outfit. The mech itself plays a major role in the crossover design. Blizzard has not supplied a complete region-by-region purchase-price list in its announcement, so compare the actual Ultra skin offer in your own shop before buying.

Is Widowmaker’s EVE skin part of the crossover?

Yes. Widowmaker takes the EVE role in Overwatch EVE Protocol, drawing on the central warrior from Stellar Blade. It’s one of five character pairings, alongside Freja as Raven, Vendetta as Tachy, Soldier: 76 as Adam and D.Va as Lily.

Widowmaker’s precision-focused identity makes the pairing a natural fit. The announcement confirms the character inspiration, not a separate ability set, weapon-stat change or new gameplay advantage. As with the other crossover cosmetics, the skin changes appearance rather than the hero’s core kit.

How long is the Overwatch EVE Protocol event available?

The crossover started November 3, 2026. Blizzard’s midcycle announcement says it runs through November 17, while the current Overwatch homepage advertises November 3 to November 16. Those may refer to different cutoff conventions, but Blizzard has not reconciled them in the two public descriptions.

For the Overwatch EVE Protocol shop, the most useful deadline is the countdown displayed next to the actual skin or bundle. If you’re trying to buy a particular outfit, don’t assume you can wait until the end of November 17 in your own time zone. Check earlier, while the offer is still clearly available.

How do you get the EVE Protocol skins?

The skins are part of the limited-time crossover cosmetics collection. Open the Overwatch Shop during the collaboration and inspect the individual items and bundles shown for your account. Look for the specific hero and character combination, especially Lily for D.Va, because the Ultra tier has its own effects.

Blizzard’s announcement does not provide every bundle’s currency price for every region, so a single invented price would be misleading. It also does not promise that all five Overwatch EVE Protocol skins are obtainable for free. Check what the shop includes before spending Coins and don’t mistake ordinary event challenges for a guaranteed free premium skin.

Does the crossover change gameplay?

No hero balance changes are tied to wearing these outfits. D.Va’s reactivity and special kill effect are visual flourishes. Tokki looks different, but its Providence-inspired design isn’t a new mech ability or a separate playable boss battle. Widowmaker, Freja, Vendetta and Soldier: 76 keep their normal roles.

If you want actual November 3 hero buffs and nerfs, read the balance patch notes separately. The Overwatch EVE Protocol guide covers cosmetics and purchasing windows, not competitive changes or extra missions that Blizzard hasn’t announced.

Can you still get these skins after the crossover?

Blizzard’s November announcement gives a limited event window, not a guaranteed re-release date. Previously available crossover cosmetics in Overwatch have sometimes returned, but that isn’t confirmation that this specific set will be offered again on a particular day. Treat the current shop’s timer as the decision point.

The five confirmed skins are the practical checklist: EVE Widowmaker, Lily D.Va, Raven Freja, Tachy Vendetta and Adam Soldier: 76. Inspect the shop for the one you actually want rather than purchasing a larger collection by mistake.
