Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion is still possible after missing some of the October events, but only if you can reach 400 Primus Atalact fragments before the remaining event windows close. RAID offers 475 fragments across the whole calendar, so you can miss 75 fragments in total. That is a shared allowance, not an extra 75 for each kind of tournament.
If you have just realised you missed an opening Summon Rush or Dungeon tournament, check what you actually claimed before spending more Energy and Shards. Some players still have a route through the remaining events; others are already too far behind. The difference comes down to how many Primus fragments you actually have, not how many events you’ve entered.
Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion: how many fragments can you miss?
Each of your four Primus Atalact Epic Champions needs 100 fragments. The Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion therefore needs 400 fragments in total, with 475 available from sixteen events and tournaments. Most reward rows offer 25 fragments, while Summon Rush I, Summon Rush II and Champion Chase each contain two separate 25-fragment milestones.

To see whether your Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion is still achievable, add what you’ve already collected to the remaining fragment rewards you can realistically earn. If the result is below 400, grinding harder won’t change the maths. An expired milestone isn’t part of your remaining total, even if it still appears on an event calendar.
Can you skip Summon Rush in the Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion?
Yes, you can skip one of the two full Summon Rush events, provided you don’t miss too much elsewhere. Summon Rush I ran October 23 to 26, Summon Rush II runs October 27 to 29, and Champion Chase is scheduled October 30 to November 2. Each offers up to 50 fragments, split into two milestones of 25.
All three shard-focused contests together provide 150 fragments; everything else provides 325. Even if you claim every non-summoning fragment, you still need at least 75 from Summon Rush and Champion Chase. Reaching just one 25-fragment milestone in two of those three events only adds 50, leaving you 25 short.

For this Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion route, the first 25-fragment Summon Rush milestone is not the same as finishing its 50-fragment contribution. Check both reward thresholds before spending your saved Shards. Plarium has not announced a guaranteed make-up route for players who missed the required milestones.
What happens if you missed the first four Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion events?
The opening Dragon Tournament (25), Gear Hunters Event I (25), Summon Rush I (50) and Gear Enhancement I (25) add up to 125 fragments. If you collected none of those and their reward windows have closed, only 350 of the original 475 remain. That is not enough to create the four required Epics.
Starting late doesn’t always mean missing the reward. Champion Training, Ice Golem and the first Arena Takedown, for example, started before October 27 but continue into October 28. Check their in-game timers and reward ladders. For events that have already ended, only include fragments that were actually credited or can still be claimed through the game.
How to calculate your remaining Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion fragments
Open your Fragment Summon screen and write down the number of Primus Atalact fragments you have. Include any Primus copies you have already summoned, counting each eligible Epic as 100 fragments towards the required four. Then inspect every active and upcoming event. Add each reachable 25- or 50-fragment milestone to your total.
For example, one Primus already summoned plus 80 loose fragments means you have effectively completed 180 of the 400 required. You still need another 220. This only works if you still own that Primus and can use it for the fusion. If it was used as food, it no longer counts.
If the Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion maths shows a shortfall, don’t empty your Shard reserves in pursuit of an impossible guarantee. Plarium says Orynyx will later be available from Ancient, Primal and Sacred Shards, although summoning one that way is based on chance rather than a special catch-up event.
Don’t forget the Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion Champion upgrades
Collecting 400 fragments does not finish the job. Summon four copies of Primus Atalact, raise every one to Rank 5, Level 50 and fully ascend them before completing the final Legendary fusion. The main Orynyx fusion calendar has the necessary Potion, food and Silver totals. The published overall fusion window ends November 6, after the fragment-event calendar closes.
You also need sixteen Rank 4 chickens or equivalent food Champions, 60 Greater and 12 Superior Arcane Potions, 80 Greater and 24 Superior Void Potions, and 1,000,000 Silver for the final fusion. Use overlapping Dungeon and training events where you can, but keep enough Silver for Gear Enhancement. There’s no prize for collecting every fragment if the four Epics are still unlevelled when the timer expires.
Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion missed-event questions answered
Can I earn every missed fragment from Champion Chase? No. The current Champion Chase rewards only 50 Primus fragments. A shortfall of 75 or more cannot be solved by that tournament alone.
Can I finish with 375 fragments? No. Four Primus copies cost 400 combined, so another 25 is needed unless you already own an eligible summoned Primus copy that was not included in your calculation.
Can I fuse Orynyx after November 6? Do not rely on that. The fusion is limited-time, and the countdown in your game determines the closing time. Plarium has announced Shard availability after the event, not an extension to this fusion.
For the Orynyx Mindcrawler Fusion, count the exact rewards you’ve missed, not just the number of events. One Summon Rush offers 50 fragments, twice what most other individual events award. The 50 Pumpkin Hunt locations and RAID promo codes are separate Festival of Frights activities and do not replace these fragments.
