Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics: All Capes, Skins and Pets

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics include capes, hero skins and pets from the Deluxe Edition, preorders, returning-player rewards and limited promotions. Each has its own unlock requirements, and some capes carry over into Minecraft Java and Bedrock while others only work inside Dungeons II.

For Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics, the account and edition you own matter. The Hero Cape rewards players of the original Dungeons, the Twisted set belongs to qualifying preorders, and the Soul set comes with Deluxe. The Aurora Cape is different again: it’s a Minecraft Java and Bedrock reward, not something you can equip in Dungeons II.

Cape	How to unlock	Where it appears
Hero Cape	Play Minecraft Dungeons, then log into Dungeons II on the same Microsoft account before December 31, 2026	Dungeons II, Java and Bedrock
Twisted Cape	Qualifying Dungeons II preorder, then confirm the reward on the same Microsoft account	Dungeons II, Java and Bedrock
Soul Cape	Own the Dungeons II Deluxe Edition or qualifying Deluxe content	Dungeons II only
Corrupted Creeper Cape	Selected promotions and events	Dungeons II, availability depends on promotion
Special Cape	Future method not yet announced	Not fully announced
Aurora Cape	Complete a qualifying Twitch or TikTok launch viewing challenge and redeem the code	Minecraft Java and Bedrock only

That final row is easy to misunderstand. The Aurora Cape celebrates Dungeons II launch streams, but Mojang explicitly says it is only available in Minecraft, not inside Minecraft Dungeons II.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics from the preorder bundle

The preorder promotion is no longer available to buy after launch. Qualifying players receive the Twisted Cape, Twisted Chicken pet and two additional hero skins. The Twisted Cape also crosses into Minecraft Java and Bedrock after Dungeons II confirms the entitlement.

Physical preorder copies need an extra first step: use the code included in the package on the relevant platform. Xbox, Nintendo and PlayStation each use their own platform redemption flow before the Microsoft-account entitlement can be confirmed in Dungeons II.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics in the Deluxe Edition

Deluxe Edition includes the Soul Cape, the Blub pet and four dark-golden hero skin variants for Valorie, Kellen, Ren and Flores. Blub is a cosmetic companion rather than a combat summon, so Deluxe does not hide extra battle power inside the pet.

The Deluxe bundle also includes the two future DLC packs, but those are content entitlements rather than Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics. The existing Soul Pack and Deluxe guides separate the cosmetics from the post-launch DLC ownership.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics: Hero Cape requirements

The Hero Cape is the returning-player reward. Mojang says you need qualifying Minecraft Dungeons activity tied to the Microsoft account, then you need to play Minecraft Dungeons II on that same account before December 31, 2026.

Minecraft Help clarifies that buying the original game is not the only possible route. Qualifying save activity can come from Game Pass, an eligible play session or couch co-op, provided the activity is associated with the Microsoft account that later launches Dungeons II.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics: Aurora Cape promotion dates

Aurora uses a completely different claim path from the other Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics. The promotion runs from September 29 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific through October 14 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Twitch requires 15 minutes on a rewards-enabled Dungeons II live stream, while TikTok requires three minutes on an eligible Game Rewards live stream.

After completing the viewing challenge, the code is delivered through Twitch Inventory or TikTok Notifications. Redeem it at minecraft.net/redeem by October 31, 2026. Codes are limited to one per person or Microsoft account and supplies are limited.

Corrupted Creeper and Special Cape

The Corrupted Creeper Cape is still a promotional reward rather than a permanent edition bonus. Mojang’s new launch guide says it will appear through selected online and offline promotions, so players should follow the rules attached to each specific campaign.

The Special Cape is even less defined. Mojang has listed it without announcing a claim method, so there’s currently no confirmed code or unlock requirement.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics: Domino’s Skin, Slice Slayer Cape and Cheesy Cube Pet

From 26 October 2026, Domino’s is offering three additional Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics: the Domino’s Character Skin, Slice Slayer Cape and Cheesy Cube Pet. One qualifying Domino’s order gives one randomly selected cosmetic code. They change your appearance without boosting damage or other combat stats.

Domino’s reward	Cosmetic type	Unlock
Domino’s Skin	Hero skin	One of three random order codes
Slice Slayer Cape	Cape	One of three random order codes
Cheesy Cube Pet	Companion	One of three random order codes

In the US, you’ll need Domino’s Rewards membership and a qualifying Domino pizza ordered and paid for online. The US cosmetic offer ends 10 January 2027. The code should appear in My Rewards within 24 hours of the purchase. Canada, Mexico and other participating countries have their own qualifying products and timelines. The UK is not included in the announced participating markets, so a normal UK order should not be assumed eligible.

To redeem these Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics, open Dungeons II → Settings → Exclusive Content and enter the 12-character code while signed into the intended Microsoft account. Cosmetic codes are valid until 31 December 2027. Only one of each item can be redeemed per Microsoft account, and Mojang says you can swap unused codes with friends.

The separate US free-game giveaway offers 20,000 Standard Edition codes from 26 October to 4 November. Its Official Rules provide a no-purchase entry route; the three cosmetics still require a qualifying purchase in participating countries. Game prizes are for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Do not confuse the two promotions or their different country restrictions.

Minecraft hero skin packs are separate

Mojang is also bringing back the classic Minecraft Dungeons Hero skin pack and selling a Minecraft Dungeons II Hero skin pack featuring Valorie, Kellen, Flores and Ren through Minecraft Marketplace. Those are Minecraft Bedrock skin packs, not the same thing as the hero cosmetics bundled inside Dungeons II.

This distinction matters because Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics can exist in Dungeons II, normal Minecraft, or both. Always check the destination game before deciding a reward is missing.

Minecraft Dungeons II Cosmetics not showing: what to check

Start with the reward’s actual eligibility rule. Hero Cape needs original-Dungeons activity on the same Microsoft account, Twisted needs qualifying preorder ownership, and Aurora needs a viewing code redeemed into normal Minecraft rather than Dungeons II.

Mojang also warns that entitlement confirmation can be delayed or run into technical issues. Keep proof of the qualifying purchase or promotion and use the dedicated missing-cape guides before buying another edition or creating a second account.
