LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn returns on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with another chance to collect Golden Weapons. The seven-day event in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey runs until November 12 and brings the Shatter Spawn boss back to the Shatter Sanctum.
The entrance is at the Monastery on NINJAGO Island, not on Fortnite’s Battle Royale map. Players who defeat the boss can claim the Nunchucks of Lightning and Shurikens of Ice. Epic also says the portal seals after victory, so you get one successful clear per world during this event window.
LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn November 5 start time worldwide
The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn event begins at 09:00 UTC on November 5 and ends at 09:00 UTC on November 12. Epic’s event calendar gives the same seven-day window worldwide. Here’s when the portal opens and closes in major regions:

Where to find LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn
Go to NINJAGO Island in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and head for the Monastery of Spinjitzu. This is the home base for the NINJAGO story. During the event, the Monastery portal takes you into the Shatter Sanctum, where the boss fight happens.
If you’ve been playing on NINJAGO Island already, head back to the Monastery. For a new Survival world, the NINJAGO introduction brings you to the island and guides you uphill towards the Monastery. See our Shatter Sanctum portal location guide for the route.

LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn rewards for November 5 to 12
Epic has named two Golden Weapons as the prizes for defeating Shatter Spawn: the Nunchucks of Lightning and Shurikens of Ice. These are rewards for the boss encounter, not ordinary starter items from the NINJAGO story.
Nunchucks are close-combat weapons with normal and alternate attacks. Shurikens are thrown to hit enemies at a distance. Both weapon types were introduced with NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja, but the Golden Weapon versions are tied to the Shatter Spawn challenge.
You might remember the Sword of Fire and Scythe of Quakes from earlier Shatter Spawn events. August’s event offered all four Golden Weapons together. For November, Epic’s latest event announcement specifically names the Lightning and Ice pair.
Does the Shatter Spawn portal close after the fight?
Yes. Once you defeat Shatter Spawn, the portal at the Monastery seals in your world. A successful clear ends your access to the boss for that event window; this isn’t an endlessly repeatable fight for additional Golden Weapons.
Epic describes the November 5 to 12 LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn event as the final chance to claim Golden Weapons for now. The portal has reopened during previous limited events, but this is the last window currently listed.
How to prepare for the boss fight
Before entering the Sanctum, open the NINJAGO section of your Mastery menu. The Ninja, Ice, Lightning and Earth categories include upgrades and recipes for Scrolls, Relics and Charms. Crafting regular Nunchucks, Shurikens and stronger gear at the Ninja Workbench is another way to arrive better equipped.
Spinjitzu Scrolls provide abilities including Double Jump, Ninja Run and the Spinjitzu Tornado. Relics can add power or elemental effects to weapons, so check your available equipment before committing to the fight. These are features of Odyssey’s wider NINJAGO progression, not additional steps for claiming the boss rewards.
The LEGO Fortnite Shatter Spawn return is straightforward: travel to the Monastery on NINJAGO Island between November 5 and 12, enter the Shatter Sanctum and defeat the boss to earn the Golden Weapons. The portal seals once the fight is won.
