The Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest asks you to deal 700 damage to opponents using Zoro’s Three Sword Style in the Treasure Hunters crossover. The challenge is part of One Piece Episode 1 and awards 10,000 XP when completed.

You need to use the actual Zoro sword item, not just wear the Zoro Outfit or attack with an ordinary pickaxe. Here is where to look for the weapon, how to build the damage total and what to check if your quest counter will not move.

How to complete the Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest

For the Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest, open the One Piece section of the Quests tab and select the objective about damaging opponents with Zoro’s Swords. Find Three Sword Style in a Battle Royale match, equip it, then attack other players until the tracker records 700 damage.

The objective is about damage, not about getting a certain number of eliminations. You can make progress while weakening an opponent even if somebody else secures the elimination. The reported total carries across matches, so do not assume you need one uninterrupted fight worth 700 damage.

Where to find Zoro’s Three Sword Style

Zoro’s Three Sword Style is a crossover weapon in the Treasure Hunters loot pool. Launch-day reports describe finding it inside chests and among ordinary floor loot. That means searching multiple loot spots is more reliable than travelling to a single claimed guaranteed spawn.

Try landing in an area with several nearby buildings or containers, then check the loot as you rotate. Another player may already have collected the sword; seeing somebody fight with it tells you the weapon is in that match, but it is not a promise they will drop it where you can safely collect it.

You don’t need to visit any particular named POI. Epic has not published fixed drop coordinates for the sword in its general announcement. Do not spend several matches landing at an invented ‘Zoro sword chest’ when the item is being reported as normal loot.

Once you have the weapon, keep your usual shields and healing available. Three Sword Style is used at close range, so use cover to approach instead of sprinting through open ground under rifle fire. Pick isolated opponents where possible and avoid taking on several players from different angles.

Launch reports mention slash, dash and deflect actions for Zoro’s Three Sword Style, but the button prompts depend on platform and the live item UI. Read the item controls on screen rather than following a made-up keyboard or controller shortcut. Use the attack that actually connects with opponents and watch the quest meter.

You will make faster progress by surviving several fights than by landing one hit and being eliminated immediately. This Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest rewards accumulated opponent damage, so a careful approach still moves you toward the 700 target.

What damage counts towards the Zoro sword quest?

The wording reported for Episode 1 specifies damage to opponents. Destroying structures, chopping trees or swinging at empty space does not satisfy that requirement. Do not rely on attacking wildlife or NPCs unless your in-game tracker clearly shows they qualify.

If the Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest seems stuck, check you are using Zoro’s named Three Sword Style item, not another sword or melee attack. Confirm you are in a mode where the challenge is active, land an attack on a player and reopen the selected quest after the encounter.

Does the Zoro Outfit help finish this challenge?

No. The quest is tied to the weapon and damage dealt, not the character model in your Locker. Zoro’s Outfit is scheduled for the Item Shop on November 7, whereas the sword ability is part of the Treasure Hunters gameplay. There is no reason to buy the Outfit to finish the weapon objective.

The sword challenge is one of eight One Piece Episode objectives. It awards 10,000 XP and counts as one completed quest towards the crossover’s spray milestones at one, three, five and seven completions.

Will the Zoro quest unlock a free skin or spray?

It contributes to four free sprays, including the Luffy and Zoro Spray at the first milestone. Those sprays are cosmetic designs, not free Luffy or Zoro Outfits. You can finish seven of the eight Episode challenges to get the full spray set without buying crossover cosmetics.

If you don’t find the sword, work on the Gum-Gum Rocket quest or another One Piece objective while looting. The Fortnite Zoro Sword damage quest becomes much easier when the item naturally appears during a match, and checking the quest counter after each exchange is the quickest way to confirm your hits are being recognised.
