Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond is Arrowhead Game Studios’ next Premium Warbond, launching on September 22 with a heavy-armor theme and a full set of new combat tools. The reveal confirms three weapons, two throwables, two armor sets, a new armor passive, two boosters, two capes, player cards, an emote, a title and the first tank-exclusive patterns to appear in a Premium Warbond.
There is enough confirmed detail here to plan around without inventing stats. Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond covers rapid rifle fire, explosive area damage, armor stripping, anti-tank support and fire control, while the armor side is built around surviving knockdowns and collision damage. Arrowhead also confirms that the base game, Super Credits and normal progression are required to unlock Warbond content.
Every confirmed Ironclad Democracy reward

Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond adds the AR-11 Arbitrator primary assault rifle, GL-15 Evictor primary grenade launcher and P-34 Breacher secondary missile pistol. The throwable slots are filled by the G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker and G-8 Immolation grenade. Armor arrives in two weight classes: the light BFM-16 Tanker and heavy BFM-220 Ironclad.
| Reward | Confirmed function |
| AR-11 Arbitrator | Rapid caseless assault rifle with an underslung shotgun |
| GL-15 Evictor | Pump-action grenade launcher with single-round reloads |
| P-34 Breacher | Sticky phosphorous-fuel missile pistol built to burn through armor |
| G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker | Smart grenade drone aimed at armored vehicles |
| G-8 Immolation | Throwable that blankets an area in fire |
The two armor sets use Blunt-Force Mitigation. Arrowhead says the passive makes Helldivers more resistant to being knocked off their feet, reduces impact and collision damage by 30%, and also provides a higher armor rating. That makes the armor effect one of the most clearly defined parts of Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond before launch.
The three new weapons have very different jobs
The AR-11 Arbitrator mixes rapid caseless rifle fire with an underslung shotgun, so one primary can cover conventional shooting and a close-range backup option. The GL-15 Evictor is deliberately slower and more methodical, using a pump-action grenade launcher with manual single-round reloads in exchange for area-of-effect damage.
The P-34 Breacher is a secondary rather than a primary. Its sticky projectiles use phosphorous fuel and finish with an explosive payoff, with Arrowhead specifically describing the weapon as capable of burning through armor or another outer layer. Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond therefore adds a sidearm that is aimed at a tougher target profile than a routine backup pistol.
The boosters are more than filler
Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond includes two boosters with straightforward jobs. Integrated Extinguishers reduces the time needed to extinguish flames. Arrowhead has not published a percentage reduction, so there is no sensible reason to invent one before the Warbond is live.
The Surplus EAT Allocation booster is more unusual. It gives two free uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank Stratagem per mission. Arrowhead says that provides enough single-use launchers for a full four-player squad if everyone shares them properly. That gives Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond another anti-armor angle without taking the form of a new gun or grenade.
Armor, capes and tank patterns
BFM-16 Tanker is light armor inspired by the armored cavalry of the First Galactic War, while BFM-220 Ironclad is heavy armor made from surplus hull plating. Both share Blunt-Force Mitigation, so the choice is about armor class and movement profile rather than picking between different passives.
Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond also includes the Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of The Juggernaut capes, matching player cards, the Helmet Durability Check emote and the Treadhead title. The unusual cosmetic addition is a trio of tank-exclusive patterns: Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer and Executive onyx. Our tank patterns guide explains what Arrowhead has actually confirmed about them.
What Arrowhead has not confirmed yet
Arrowhead’s reveal does not give the Super Credit price for Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond, the Medal cost of each reward or the page order inside the Acquisitions Center. It also does not provide a complete damage, penetration and ammo sheet for the three weapons. Those details matter for value and balance, so any exact numbers circulating before launch need to be treated cautiously.
For now, the useful part is that the contents and roles are real, not speculative. The official Helldivers 2 website is the stable first-party game page. Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond arrives September 22, giving players a week to decide which weapons, armor and boosters they want to chase first.
