Halloween: The Game Release Time is 9:00 AM Pacific on September 8, 2026, with the game unlocking simultaneously around the world on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That means the local clock time changes by region, and players in some countries technically reach launch on September 9.
Halloween: The Game Release Time in Your Region
Because the Halloween: The Game Release Time uses a simultaneous global launch rather than a local midnight rollout, there is one worldwide unlock point. The table below converts 9:00 AM Pacific into the main regions so you do not have to work it out yourself.
| Region | Release time | Date |
|---|---|---|
| US Pacific | 9:00 AM PDT | September 8, 2026 |
| US Mountain | 10:00 AM MDT | September 8, 2026 |
| US Central | 11:00 AM CDT | September 8, 2026 |
| US Eastern | 12:00 PM EDT | September 8, 2026 |
| UK | 5:00 PM BST | September 8, 2026 |
| Central Europe | 6:00 PM CEST | September 8, 2026 |
| Japan | 1:00 AM JST | September 9, 2026 |
| Australia East | 2:00 AM AEST | September 9, 2026 |
| New Zealand | 4:00 AM NZST | September 9, 2026 |
US players get a daytime launch, with the West Coast starting at 9:00 AM PDT and the East Coast at 12:00 PM EDT. In the UK the game unlocks at 5:00 PM BST, while Central Europe gets it at 6:00 PM CEST.
Japan, Australia East and New Zealand cross into September 9 before the global unlock arrives. That is not a delayed regional launch. It is simply the same worldwide release happening after midnight in those timezones.
Is Halloween: The Game Release Time a Midnight Release?
No. Halloween: The Game Release Time is not midnight in each individual country. Halloween: The Game becomes available at one shared moment worldwide, which is 9:00 AM Pacific on September 8.
That is useful to know because a local midnight launch would let New Zealand and Australia start many hours before North America. This release works differently. Everyone reaches the unlock at the same moment, even though the date shown on the clock is September 9 in some regions.
What Time Does Halloween: The Game Early Access Start?
Halloween: The Game Early Access begins at 9:00 AM Pacific on September 4, 2026. The early access window is available to players who preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition and begins four days before the standard launch.
| Region | Early access time | Date |
|---|---|---|
| US Pacific | 9:00 AM PDT | September 4, 2026 |
| US Mountain | 10:00 AM MDT | September 4, 2026 |
| US Central | 11:00 AM CDT | September 4, 2026 |
| US Eastern | 12:00 PM EDT | September 4, 2026 |
| UK | 5:00 PM BST | September 4, 2026 |
| Central Europe | 6:00 PM CEST | September 4, 2026 |
| Japan | 1:00 AM JST | September 5, 2026 |
| Australia East | 2:00 AM AEST | September 5, 2026 |
| New Zealand | 4:00 AM NZST | September 5, 2026 |
The early access timing mirrors the standard Halloween: The Game Release Time, just four days earlier. US Pacific players can begin at 9:00 AM PDT, US Eastern players at midday, and UK players at 5:00 PM BST on September 4.
For Japan, Australia East and New Zealand, early access begins after midnight on September 5. Again, that is the same global unlock rather than a separate regional date.
Halloween: The Game Release Time in the US
In the United States, Halloween: The Game Release Time is 9:00 AM PDT on the West Coast, 10:00 AM MDT in Mountain Time, 11:00 AM CDT in Central Time and 12:00 PM EDT on the East Coast. All four US zones unlock on September 8.
That makes this a particularly straightforward launch for US players. There is no late night countdown and no need to wait until midnight. Once the Pacific clock reaches 9:00 AM, the game should be live across the confirmed launch platforms.
Halloween: The Game Release Time in the UK and Europe
For UK players, Halloween: The Game Release Time is 5:00 PM BST on September 8. Central European players can start at 6:00 PM CEST. Both regions therefore get an evening launch rather than an overnight one.
If you have the Deluxe Edition early access, use the same local clock times on September 4. The only change is the date.
Which Platforms Unlock at the Same Time?
Halloween: The Game is confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version is available through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The announced launch time applies to the game’s global release rather than a separate platform specific midnight schedule.
For the wider platform breakdown, including the current Switch and last generation console status, see our Halloween: The Game Platforms guide.
When Can You Actually Start Playing Halloween: The Game?
If you are buying the Standard Edition, you can start once the Halloween: The Game Release Time arrives at 9:00 AM Pacific on September 8. If you preorder the Digital Deluxe Edition, your relevant unlock is 9:00 AM Pacific on September 4 instead.
The key thing is not to use midnight in your own country as the countdown. Use the converted time above. Our Halloween: The Game Release Date guide covers the dates and edition differences in more detail, while this page is the one to keep open for the actual clock time.
