Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90 is the new progression cap added in update 1.72 on October 15. The previous cap was seventy, so collectors now have twenty more levels to work through. The increase also unlocks the highest of three new Extra Menu collections in the Café.
The key is adding cars to your collection, not winning a certain number of races. If you’ve been collecting Credits without buying or earning new cars, you’ll still need to expand the Garage to progress through the raised cap.
How to unlock the new level cap

Install update 1.72 and check the Collector Level displayed in your profile or Garage. The cap increase is free and applies to the base game. If the game is still running an old build, the new maximum will not appear.
Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90 isn’t a separate paid DLC reward. It’s one of the Spec IV changes, along with new cars, SUGO and the Car Viewer.
How Collector Points increase
Collector Points are tied to adding vehicles to your collection, including vehicles purchased with Credits or earned through eligible rewards. A higher-value car contributes more points than a cheap one.
To reach Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90, continue collecting vehicles and check progress after each acquisition. Simply replaying races without adding cars won’t increase the collection level by itself.
Extra Menu 55, 56 and 57 requirements
The three new Café collections have different thresholds. High-Performance EVs is Menu 55, Tuned GT-Rs is Menu 56, and Le Mans Winners is Menu 57.
Polyphony’s October 15 detailed live update lists Levels 70, 80 and 90 respectively. The October 14 feature preview gave Level 75 for Menu 55, so there is a discrepancy between Sony’s published versions. Use the current in-game Café entry to confirm the displayed requirement.
The Café story prerequisite
The detailed patch notice also requires completing Menu Book 39, Championship: World GT Series, and watching the ending before the Extra Menus appear. A high Collector Level is not a replacement for finishing the Café progression.
If Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90 is already on your account but Le Mans Winners isn’t visible, check Menu Book 39 completion and the installed patch.

Should you buy expensive cars first?
Cars with greater value can help you earn Collector Points faster, but it’s worth checking the specific collection car lists before making purchases. You may be able to work towards a new Extra Menu while raising your level.
For Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90, buying random expensive vehicles can waste Credits if they don’t suit your other goals. Choose models you actually want for the Garage and Café collections.
Seasonal Menu and World Circuits are separate
Version 1.72 also adds the Seasonal Menu, which requires Menu Book 39 and the ending, plus six new World Circuits races. These aren’t the same system as the Collector Level cap.
Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90 unlocks late collection progress, while Seasonal Menu offers rotating car-collection rewards and World Circuits provides races. Use each menu for its intended task.
Collector Level 90 checklist
Update to 1.72, add cars to raise Collector Points, check your level and complete Café Menu Book 39 if needed. At Level 80 you can access Tuned GT-Rs; at Level 90 you can unlock Le Mans Winners.
Gran Turismo 7 Collector Level 90 isn’t reached by a single event, so keep growing the Garage over time. If progress looks stuck at seventy, confirm the patch is installed before attempting risky troubleshooting.

| 55 | High-Performance EVs | 70 in Update 1.72 notes; 75 in the earlier overview |
