The lock can temporarily block repeated incorrect PIN attempts, with escalating protection. It’s described as indestructible while attached, but can be damaged after removal and repaired using an electronic repair kit. The developer lists this as issue DZG-1404. If you saw repeated lock attachment options after reconnecting, that is the behaviour the experimental patch addresses.
For DayZ Badlands rebuilding, the same update fixes incorrect interior and exterior detection in rebuildable house Land_House_1S2_Dam2. That is a specific building correction, not a promise that every Nasdara structure has identical repair prompts or that all indoor detection issues are resolved.
