Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits adds six races in Update 1.72 on October 15, 2026. Three take place at the new SUGO International Racing Course, while Autopolis Short Course, Spa-Francorchamps and Dragon Trail Seaside Reverse receive one each. They appear through the existing World Circuits menu, not a separate Spec IV mode.

If you’ve only looked at SUGO, you’re missing half the new events. The complete list also includes two distinct World Touring Car races at SUGO, which are easy to mistake for one entry. Here’s where each one appears and what to check before choosing a car.

Event Circuit
Sunday Cup Autopolis International Racing Course – Short Course
European Sunday Cup 400 SUGO International Racing Course
Vision Gran Turismo Trophy Spa-Francorchamps
European Clubman Cup 600 Dragon Trail – Seaside Reverse
World Touring Car 600 SUGO International Racing Course
World Touring Car 800 SUGO International Racing Course

These are the official Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits event and circuit pairings from Polyphony Digital’s 1.72 notice. The patch notes don’t publish all lap counts, payouts and entry requirements, so those must be read from each event card rather than transferred from races elsewhere with the same series name.

How to enter the Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits races

  1. Install Update 1.72 or later.
  2. From the World Map open World Circuits.
  3. Select the relevant circuit: Autopolis, SUGO, Spa-Francorchamps or Dragon Trail.
  4. Find the event named in the table and open its race card.
  5. Read the eligibility, laps, PP restrictions and prize Credits shown there before choosing your car.

SUGO was added in the same update. If it isn’t available, make sure the game updated. For the remaining three circuits, the events are additions to tracks already in the game. Your progression can still determine which event cards are accessible, so read any displayed unlock requirements.

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits: Sunday Cup at Autopolis

The regular Sunday Cup is on Autopolis International Racing Course – Short Course. Be sure to choose the Short Course layout; the full Autopolis course is different. This is not the same event as European Sunday Cup 400, even though both include “Sunday Cup” in their names.

At Autopolis Short Course, open the Sunday Cup event card to see the entry restrictions and prize Credits. Choose a car you already own that meets the listed conditions before spending Credits on another one.

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits: European Sunday Cup 400 at SUGO

European Sunday Cup 400 takes place at SUGO International Racing Course, a new 3,586-metre track with 13 corners and 69.83 metres of elevation change. The uphill final corner changes how you approach the main straight, so it pays to practise before trying a faster event here.

European Sunday Cup 400 is the first of three new SUGO races. The other two are World Touring Car 600 and World Touring Car 800, which are separate entries with different intended car classes. Our SUGO layout guide covers the circuit measurements.

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits: Vision Gran Turismo Trophy at Spa

Vision Gran Turismo Trophy is at Spa-Francorchamps. This is the new VGT event, not a general road-car race. Read the event screen before deciding which Vision Gran Turismo car to use and whether your existing vehicle meets its conditions.

Update 1.72 adds the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, but Polyphony doesn’t say that you have to purchase that specific model to enter this race. Check eligible VGT vehicles in your Garage first.

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits: European Clubman Cup 600 at Dragon Trail

European Clubman Cup 600 appears at Dragon Trail – Seaside Reverse. Choosing the correct layout matters because Seaside Reverse approaches familiar corners from the opposite direction. It is not the standard Seaside course.

This is a different race from the European Sunday Cup 400 at SUGO. Both use European series names, but each has its own event conditions. Inspect the card before spending Credits to tune a car.

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits: World Touring Car 600 and 800 at SUGO

World Touring Car 600 and World Touring Car 800 are separate new SUGO races. Along with European Sunday Cup 400, they account for three of the six October additions. Do not apply the same car setup to both without checking the PP and other restrictions.

If you’ve already built cars for World Touring Car events at other circuits, they are useful starting points to check. The final choice still depends on the new SUGO race cards, which set their own lap counts, tyres and rewards.

When do the Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV World Circuits additions become available?

All six are part of October’s Spec IV Part 1 Update 1.72, released October 15, 2026. They aren’t postponed until December. The December part instead includes Autumn Ring and features such as Family Mode, Shuffle Race and Online Drift Trial.

For the broader update see our Spec IV overview. For classic car purchases rather than races, the Vintage guide covers Brand Central’s new catalogue.
