Tower of Fantasy Claudia New Simulacrum

Together with the release of the Artificial Island is the debut of the new Simulacrum, Claudia. A new world boss is also to be released next week.

There has been great improvement in the in-game environment of Tower of Fantasy. Hotta Studio has proven that they do listen to their players, with the string of complaints about cheating players causing the developers to permanently ban those that have been proven to have interfered with the balance of the game.

Aside from the recent actions of Hotta Studios, they have also been busy with the release of the Artificial Island to their global version of the game. This is one of the biggest updates to the game since it was released back in August.

Other players already knew about the Artificial Island as this has already been released in the Chinese version of the game, the question was simply whether the same location would be implemented in the global version or if they prefer to add or remove certain parts and facilities of the Artificial Island.

Together with the release of the Artificial Island in the global version is the debut of the new Simulacrum, Claudia. Her banner has been previously released in the Chinese version.

Claudia and her Guren Blade

Claudia wields a long katana called the Guren Blade. Claudia is an SSR Simulacrum of the DPS class. Her weapon has Physical Resonance, as expected from her Chinese version, with the newly available English version voiced by Elizabeth Simmons. Once released, she will be the 11th SSR Simulacrum of the game. She is the second Physical element SSR that was released after Bai Ling.

The passive skill of the Guren Blade is inflicting damage equal to 137.00% of ATK with the next attack of the user when it is fully charged. The target will also suffer from a grievous wound for 7 seconds, taking 20% extra damage.

In the Chinese version, she is known for her high mobility compared to the rest of the Simulacrums available. This could make her a good replacement for the Chakram of the Seas, another SSR weapon with Physical Resonance.

New world boss: The Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon

Just like Sobek, the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon appears to be a mechanoid style dragon. If Hotta Studio follows the same narrative in the Chinese version, the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon will be found flying around the Artificial Island.

With the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon being a flying being, it would be challenging for players to continuously use their jetpack while fighting it. It may require players to use certain weapons that allow them to be suspended in midair while attacking. Some SSR weapons that have that feature are the Icewind Arrow of Tsubasa and the Dual EM Stars of Samir.

There is also a possibility that developers would make the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon change forms when a certain portion of its health has been depleted. This could make it less difficult for players to go back and forth midair just to attack it.
