Tower of Fantasy: How to get to the Home Island and the Artificial Island

Tower of Fantasy is expanding with Home Island and Artificial Island. Wanderers can craft, farm and have pets to do all those for them.
Currently, the level cap of Tower of Fantasy is 58. This means that all experience you gather after getting to level 58 will still be there, but you cannot exceed that level. Updates of the game will open a new level cap so players can continue gaining experience after.
A recent tweet from the official Tower of Fantasy Twitter account confirmed the addition of a new chapter for the game. The new version 1.5 Artificial Island will unlock a new side of the world of Aida with new missions and tasks that players can enjoy.
The players are teased with “A Wonderland, Never Charted Before!” This will be the first time after the global release that the game would have a full version update. Here are what you can expect with the update:

How to get to the Artificial Island
If we follow the same update completed in the Chinese version of the game, there are many ways how to open and get to the Home Island. One of the easiest ways to get there is to complete the main storyline until the beginning of the second chapter. You will have to follow missions and content related to repairing the ship to get to the Artificial Island. After obtaining the needed items to complete the main storyline, it takes 24 hours to complete the repair of the island. This means that you will need to wait until the next day after the server has opened.
All of these will culminate in repairing the ship at Banges that would take the Wanderer to the Artificial Island. Once you have the ship repaired, the ship will also appear on your map. The most convenient way to get there is to teleport to the Spacerift: Banges Dock.
There have also been reports in the Chinese server where players above level 55 have been able to get to the Artificial Island without having to complete the mission to repair the ship. However, this has not been confirmed by Hotta Studios.
The third possible way to get there is by completing the Vera storyline. This is unlikely to happen in the global version since we are not yet introduced to the Vera section of the game.

What is the Artificial Island
The Artificial Island is where you will find the Home Island. This is where the player can start crafting new items and get assistance from their pets. One of the most common items that players in the Chinese version craft is the SSR matrix, as it is a rare item in any of the side quests and tasks.
The Artificial Island is home to a new world boss. A dragon can be seen flying on the island. We suggest that you stack on Type III chips as early as now to make sure you have enough once the new world boss is available.
In the Chinese version, there are ten developer logs that you will need to unlock to open the Home Island. The ten developer logs are scattered throughout the island.
Another way of accessing the island is by getting to level 60 or gaining at least 850 exploration points in the Artificial Island. Exploration points can be obtained by simply opening Clotho Supplies, discovering black and gold nuclei around the island, and completing the main storyline of the Artificial Island. All of these are in the Chinese version of the game.

What to expect in the home island
A home island is a place that only the player can access. This will also house different monsters and where you can start farming and even craft items. The monsters found on the island will also have unique drops that are used to upgrade the facilities inside your island. The monsters found on the island respawn once a week.
There will be multiple facilities that you can establish inside the home island. One of the most important facilities is the Command Center. If you have played management games before, you will be familiar with the main structure in those games where multiple resources are stored. It acts as both the fortress and storage facility of your island.
There are also facilities for monsters. Increasing the level of those facilities will also increase the yield of resources for that facility. These facilities will have a certain number of resources you can get every 24 hours. The number of facilities you can have and the level of those facilities will depend on the current level of your Command Center.
The refinery and shop in the home island
The refinery is where you can start crafting matrices for your weapons. However, if you are just starting with the refinery, most of what you can make are data packs I, II, and III. To get to upgrade the refinery, you will need the resources yielded by other facilities. This means that you will have to wait a certain number of days before you can upgrade your refinery. This will be especially challenging to the free-to-play Wanderers.
Once you have enough resources, you will still need to wait for at least 24 hours as the upgrade of the refinery takes 24 hours. Even if the refinery has reached the level required for the desired SSR matrix, you will still need more resources for you to get them. This means waiting for at least another 24 hours for those resources from your other facilities.
There will also be a shop inside your home island. This shop offers a variety of items and cosmetics for the players. The currency used to obtain items from the shop is drops from monsters inside the island. Since those monsters only respawn once a week, this means that you will have limited resources for you to buy items in the shop.
The shop also has limited-time event items that you can obtain. In the Chinese version, there are SSR chip packages that you can exchange for the resources that you can yield from your facilities. You can also purchase pets that will increase the yield of the facility where your pet resides.
