Immernachtreich Apokalypse is a quest in Genshin Impact that takes place in the limited-time area called Golden Apple Archipelago. In this quest, you will be taken to Fischl‘s massive castle that’s filled with adventure and its fair share of puzzles.

As usual, your adventure might get cut short if you don’t know how to solve the puzzles during this quest. For instance, you are tasked to “repair the bridge” at the beginning of the Immernachtreich Apokalypse. If you’re wondering how to do this, you’ve come to the right place!

Repairing the bridge is pretty easy. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Look for the Gaze of the Deep.

Gaze of the Deep is a new mechanism in Genshin Impact which involves adjusting your camera view until the object you’re seeing appears to be in the position it’s supposed to be in. As for locating the said mechanism, it can be found in the area as shown in the image above. This is marked on your mini-map. However, if you’re having a hard time locating it, note that the Gaze of the Deep can be found by going down the stairs indicated in the image below.

Step 2: Interact with the Gaze of the Deep to repair the bridge.

There will be two (2) of these mechanisms in the area. For reference, we’ll call the first mechanism you’ll find after going down the stairs as Gaze of the Deep 1 and the second one as Gaze of the Deep 2.

All you need to do is use the Gaze of the Deep by interacting with it. To fix the bridge, adjust your camera until the view becomes like the ones in the images below. You know you did it right when a small circle appears at the center of your view and the prompt says “Something has changed around you.”
