As the nation of Dendro, it is only expected for Sumeru to be rich in biodiversity. The region prides itself on many species of flora and fauna. But while most of them thrive in its rainforests, there are those that find their home in the region’s vast deserts. One of these is the fruit called Henna Berry.

This fruit possesses a vibrant crimson color that is made even more striking against the desert’s yellow sands. And you can’t find it anywhere else in Teyvat. It’s a Local Specialty in Sumeru, meaning it can only be found in the region.

A fruit that grows even in the most hostile of desert environments. Its vibrant crimson fruits are made even more lovely against a backdrop of yellow sand.

Henna Berry locations in Genshin Impact

As mentioned previously, Henna Berry can only be found in the desert subregion of Sumeru. As of writing, no shops sell this local specialty, and no known NPC will give a couple of them for free. Therefore, if you’re in need of some, especially for ascending and building the 4-star Hydro character Candace or the 4-star Anemo character Faruzan, your only option is to look for them yourself.

Uses of Henna Berry in Genshin Impact

As of writing, this Local Specialty from Sumeru is not known to be used for any crafting or cooking recipes. Its only purpose at the moment is as an ascension material for Candace and Faruzan.
