Approximately a week before the second phase of Genshin Impact Version 3.1, Hoyoverse released the character teaser of the newest addition to its ever-growing roster of playable characters.

The character in question is Nilou, a popular dancer from the Zubayr Theater. As officially announced by the Genshin Impact 3.1 Special program, this new character is a 5-star Hydro sword user to be released in the current version’s second phase.

Nilou Character Teaser gains positive comments

In her character teaser, Nilou can be seen hanging out with people who appear to be from the theatre, sharing a drink and talking about props and their performance after a long day. The new character also calls the theatre a “home away from home.”

With this, the Genshin Impact community was quick to point out how “peaceful” Nilou‘s character teaser is, with one user saying, “Nilou’s teaser is quite peaceful compared to other characters.”

While Nilou is a Hydro character and can trigger any Hydro-related Elemental Reactions, it was previously revealed that her kit is heavily focused around the Dendro Elemental Reaction called Bloom. Instead of the typical Dendro Cores that this reaction drops, Nilou turns them into Bountiful Cores.

It can be recalled that Dendro Cores explode on their own six (6) seconds after they are produced by Bloom. Bountiful Cores, however, have a larger area of effect and explode much faster than the former.
