Genshin Impact: Leaked image reveals Ningguang’s new skin

After being teased way back in September in Sukunaa’s list, we finally have the first leaked image for Ningguang’s skin, and it seems to be the real deal. The skin is supposed to be released during the 2.4 update, alongside Keqing’s first skin.

For some weeks, the leaker’s community has been very actively discussing the two next skins in the game, but we never got any image of how they’ll actually look like, and we had to content ourselves with vague descriptions. Well, not anymore!

The skin was revealed by Papatronic on Twitter and quickly shared by Ubatcha, one of the most trustable leakers nowadays.

By looking at the background, it seems like the image was taken from the Special Live Program, which, according to leaks, should be happening this Sunday. 

It would not be the first time we receive new information from this kind of leak, as the first image showing Albedo and Eula, suggesting they would be featured together in the next banner, was very similar to this one.

The skin also fits with the given descriptions, which stated that both Ningguang and Keqing would be wearing dresses in their skins. The colors also match the descriptions, so while we don’t have any confirmation to support Keqing’s skin, it may be very similar to Ningguang’s.

With that said, miHoYo seems to be going for the same approach for skins they made during the Archipelago event: Two new skins sharing the same theme for lore-related characters, one of them being a non-limited 5-star character.

Also, the 4-star character skin is being given for free. We’ll be able to receive Ningguang’s new purple dress skin by simply completing the version’s events. After that, it should be available for purchase in the game store for 1680 Genesis Crystals.

The same price should be expected for Keqing’s skin, but similar to how it was during Jean’s summer skin release, it should be initially priced at 1350 Crystals. We should also see the girls with their new clothes in the version’s event, which will take us back to Liyue once again.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.3 version, “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms”, which brings a new double rerun feature, new mechanics and improvements to the game, new characters, enemies, and special holiday events.

You can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android, iOS, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
