Genshin Impact 2.5: Yae Miko banner leaks, release date

Last Updated on: 2nd February 2022, 03:27 am

As we’re entering into the final weeks of the 2.4 update, leaks about the future Yae Miko banner are finally starting to surface.

The foxy girl has been teased as a character since her debut in the 2.0 update, and she’s finally coming to Genshin Impact, possibly as the first banner of the future update.

Her reveal post on Twitter still holds the record for most reactions on Genshin’s official account, and leakers even went out of their way to ensure that she received the most pre-release footage of all characters.

Such is her popularity, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she breaks another sales record for miHoYo.

Yae Miko banner leaks, characters and weapons

Lumie, who has previously leaked information such as character renders months before their actual release (such as Yun Jin and Shenhe), reveals new leaks suggesting the Yae Miko banner to feature Fischl, Diona, and Thoma as the rate up characters.

Fischl has not appeared in a banner for a long time, and Thoma was never featured after his release.

It’s also informed that the Weapon banner will feature Yae’s new signature weapon, Kagura’s Verity, along with the Primordial Jade Cutter, one of the best one-handed swords in the game. No information on the 4-star weapons was given.

Also according to Lumie, Yae won’t have any concurrent banner, just like Itto. This information matches other leaks that suggested Yae, Raiden, and Kokomi as the featured characters in the next update.

Since every Archon had its first rerun 4 patches after its release (remembering that Raiden was released back in 2.1), this is very likely to be the case.

While there’s still no official date for her release, we can be pretty sure that 2.5 will be released on February 15, and she is very likely going to be the version’s first banner. If nothing changes, then Yae Miko is probably being released on February 15.

Also according to leaks, the Special Live Program will be happening this week, on February 4th. During the official live, we’ll have more official information about Yae and all of the new content in 2.5, such as the Raiden Shogun weekly boss.
