After months of leaks and speculations, the Kamisato Ayaka skin was finally officially announced during the recent 3.4 Livestream or Special Program. Contrary to earlier leaks that disappointed most fans, the 5-star Cryo character will not have a “school uniform” skin. Instead, she will be wearing a travel outfit!

As a Cryo character, most of the units released in Sumeru have not made a significant difference in Ayaka’s team compositions. However, the next nation after Sumeru, which is Fontaine, will most likely further enhance Ayaka’s role as a Freeze DPS. This is because Fontaine is where the Hydro archon resides, and it only follows that more Hydro characters will be released by then.

In fact, the new Ayaka skin is designed in Fontaine style. If you didn’t already know, the upcoming region is apparently inspired by France, making Ayaka’s travel outfit significantly different from her usual ensemble.

New Ayaka Skin design

While Ayaka’s default skin, with the kimono and armor-coated skirt, is called Flawless Radiance, the new Ayaka skin is called Springbloom Missive. As mentioned, this outfit has taken inspiration from Fontaine’s fashion. It is said to “reflect the lifestyle of proper ladies who live in that nation.”

Ayaka Skin release date and how to obtain

Springbloom Missive, the new Ayaka skin, is set to be available in Genshin Impact Version 3.4, which will be released on January 18, 2023. Unlike Diluc’s Red Dead of Night outfit, Ayaka’s Springbloom Missive skin is only 4 stars and costs Genesis Crystal ×1680, with a time-limited price of Genesis Crystal ×1350.

Moreover, you can obtain this outfit from the Character Outfit Shop after the update, which is accessible from the Paimon Menu > Shop > Character Outfits.
