Genshin Impact: Diluc Skin and Fischl Skin artworks leaked

The 2.8 update for Genshin Impact is coming in less than two weeks, and it will introduce new skins for both Diluc and Fischl, and they just happened to have their artwork revealed in the last batch of leaks. These artworks match their previous descriptions, so it seems to be safe to call them reliable.

Both the Fischl and Diluc Skin were leaked by Tighnariloverrss, who has been supported by other known leakers such as BLANK. Both artworks also seem to be in line with Hoyoverse’s art style for splash arts.

Leaked Artwork for Diluc Skin – Red Dead of Night

The Diluc Skin is shown holding the Wolf’s Gravestone while standing amidst the flames with the Pheonix from his Burst behind him. He does have a high ponytail as it was previously informed by leaker Sagiri, and his clothes have a more reddish color scheme.

According to leaks, this will be Genshin’s first “legendary tier” skin, giving Diluc new idle animations and exclusive effects instead of being simply a new model. For all that we know, he might even get new voice lines for the skin, but these are not added into the beta until a few days before the patch’s release.

As it belongs to a new, higher tier of skins, it will be priced a bit higher at 1980 Genesis Crystals during release, and 2580 Crystals after.

Leaked Artwork for Fischl Skin – Ein Immernachtstraum

With a purple dress and a crown-looking bowtie, Fischl has received an incredibly detailed new skin. One curious detail is that her eyes are red instead of the usual green. This is most likely intentional, as this skin seems to be her cosplaying as the original Fischl from the books.

This skin will be available for free during the 2.8 version event, in which we’ll see the return of the Golden Apple Archipelago from the 1.6 update. It will be obtainable the same way Barbara’s skin was by collection couches. Otherwise, it will be available for 1680 Genesis Crystals after the event is over.

While skins are not the main focus for the developers, there seems to be at least some effort to create new, interesting concepts for playable characters. We might see new high-tier skins in the future, and more characters to receive costumes.
