New Fortnite Panther Operation Black Tabby bundle takes inspiration from Chapter 1 skins

With the Fortnite Item Shop rotation tonight, May 6, comes the brand new Panther outfit which is part of the Operation Black Tabby bundle that also includes a Harvesting Tool and Wrap.

The new Panther outfit combines elements from numerous other skins to create a really striking-looking outfit.

At first glance, it appears that the Panther outfit takes inspiration from Lynx, which was included in the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 7 Battle Pass.

Panther also takes inspiration from another popular Chapter 1 skin, The Visitor which was the secret skin in the Chapter 1 Season 4 Battle Pass. The outfit includes four different visor styles, similar to how players could change the image of the visor of The Visitor. Check out the four different visor styles that are available.

Finally, we can’t ignore the current Chapter 3 Season 2 secret skin, Marvel’s Prowler which certainly helped to provide inspiration for this new outfit.

Panther is available in Fortnite as a stand-alone outfit for 1,200 V-Bucks, or as part of the Operation Black Tabby bundle that costs 1,600 V-Bucks.

Also included in the Operation Black Tabby bundle are the Panthertooth Harvesting Tool and Panther’s Call Wrap. Both cosmetics are available individually too.

Panther joins an already stacked Fortnite Item Shop which includes a total of 104 cosmetic items that are available to purchase, including the returning “Soccer Skins”, as well as the Star Wars, Halo, Gears of War, Street Fighter, El Chapulin Colorado, and Wu-Tang Clan collaboration outfits, as well as the recently released Omega Knight bundle that will allow players to earn up to 28 levels worth of XP by completing challenges over the coming weeks.

The brand new Panther outfit comes just one day before the new Icon Series Chica outfit is released in the game. The popular Twitch streamer Chica joins the Fortnite Icon Series alongside top creators including Ninja, Bugha, Lachlan, Loserfruit, Lazarbream, and Grefg.

Players were also given a chance to win the Chica skin for free by competing in the Chica Cup tournament earlier this week.
