Fortnite: Guile and Cammy skins revealed (Street Fighter)

If Fortnite is known for one thing, it’s their collaborations. Over the years they’ve partnered with many top gaming and entertainment entities such as the NBA, Marvel, DC, and many others. Earlier this year we saw Street Fighter characters Ryu and Chun-Li come to Fortnite, and now we’re set to welcome two more to the popular Battle Royale game as Guile and Cammy have been officially announced.

Guile And Cammy Are Coming To Fortnite

Just under six months ago we saw Ryu and Chun-Li come to the game during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, which was a very unexpected but welcomed collaboration.

Today, it has been announced that two more characters from the Street Fighter universe, Guile and Cammy, are coming to the game in the coming days.

The iconic characters will be making their way to the Item Shop on August 7th at 8 pm EST/1 am BST.

Colonel Guile has been a long-standing member of the Street Fighter roster, first making an appearance in the critically acclaimed Street Fighter 2.

Guile was marketed in his early years as the next G.I. Joe, with him being pushed as an American hero.

Eventually, Capcom realized that Ryu and Ken were the two most popular characters worldwide and both became the faces of the series.

Cammy also made her first appearance in Street Fighter 2, but in a later re-release, 1993’s Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers.

Both characters also saw significant roles in the live-action Street Fighter movie released in 1994, with Jean Claude Van Dam playing Guile, and Kylie Minogue taking on the role of Cammy.

Each character will come with two styles, one matching their traditional Street Fighter look, and then one unique look.

The Guile Outfit showcases the classic green fatigues first worn in the original Street Fighter II and adds a beach-ready Glistening Guile Variant and K.O. Backbling.

Alongside the classic Cammy Outfit, you’ll also be able to equip the Borealis Backer Back Bling and Tactical Cammy Variant. 

Players that purchase both skins as a bundle will receive the Round 2 Loading Screen as a Bonus.

The Bundle also features Guile’s Knuckle Buster Pickaxe, Cammy’s Delta Red Bowie Blade Pickaxe, and the V-Trigger Vector Glider — inspired by the original Guile stage.

Cammy Cup

Players will be able to compete in the Cammy Cup to try and unlock the Cammy skin early.

The Cup will take place on August 5th in the Duos format, with the top players earning the skin, and all players that earn eight or more points will unlock the Round 2 Loading Screen.
