A Fortnite Street Fighter Crossover Is On The Way!

It looks like a Fortnite x Street Fighter Crossover is on the way as the next Hunter coming to Chapter 2 Season 5 appears to have been confirmed via teasers and hints.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is all about “Hunters” and Epic Games’ epic amount of collaborations.
So far, we’ve seen Master Chief, Kratos, Sarah Connor, Terminator, The Flash… The list is long. Now, it seems we’re also getting a Street Fighter cross-over with Ryu being the prime suspect.
Fortnite Street Fighter Crossover
The main hint that seems to suggest that a Street Fighter crossover is coming to Fortnite is the fact that an in-game portal has opened up.

This is in a similar fashion to how TRON’s mainframe was teased prior to the TRON Legacy costumes being added to the Fortnite store.
The images shown inside the portal seem to resemble Ryu’s Stage from Street Fighter 2. This makes him, and maybe Ken, as possible new skins coming to Epic Games’ Battle Royale title as apart of any Fortnite Street Fighter crossover.

This won’t be Ryu’s first crossover, if it is true. He’s recently appeared in Super Smash Bros Ultimate and featured in the Marvel v Capcom fighting game series.
All we need to do now is wait for Epic Games’ Jonesy to share another Audio Transmission. These usually arrive later in the day and just before the next Hunter is announced.
If Ryu is coming, we’ll know from one of those pretty soon.
