The Weezy Outfit and Weezy Board Back Bling are awarded together to players who finish within the required leaderboard positions for their matchmaking region.
The YM Emoticon works differently. Instead of requiring a particular leaderboard position, it is awarded for earning at least eight points during the event.
That makes the emoticon by far the easiest of the Fortnite Weezy Icon Cup rewards to unlock.
How to Get the Weezy Outfit in Fortnite
To get the Weezy Outfit through the Fortnite Weezy Icon Cup, you must compete on September 12 and finish within the qualifying positions for your region.

How to Get the Weezy Board Back Bling
There is no separate requirement for the Weezy Board Back Bling.
Anyone who finishes within their region’s qualifying placement for the Weezy Outfit will also receive the Weezy Board Back Bling.
For example, a European player who finishes within the top 1,000 of the applicable session can receive both cosmetics. A North America Central player needs to finish within the top 700, while North America West and Brazil players need a top-200 finish.
How Many Points for the YM Emoticon?
You need eight points to earn the YM Emoticon.
Unlike the headline Fortnite Weezy Icon Cup rewards, there is no regional placement requirement attached to the YM Emoticon in Epic’s official rules. Reach eight points and you meet the stated reward threshold.
That should make this a very accessible free cosmetic for players who want to participate without realistically expecting to finish among the best-performing competitors in their region.
Even if your first few games go horribly and your dreams of a free Weezy Outfit disappear into the storm, it is still worth continuing until you have those eight points secured.
Battle Royale and Zero Build Rewards
Epic is holding separate Fortnite Weezy Icon Cup sessions for Battle Royale and Zero Build.
Both are Solo competitions, each session lasts approximately three hours, and players can participate in up to 11 matches during an event session.
More importantly, Epic lists the same Fortnite Weezy Icon Cup rewards and regional thresholds for both modes.
That means players can choose the mode that suits them rather than having a cosmetic advantage attached to one playlist.
