Fortnite OG Pass was a shorter reward collection introduced when the original Chapter 1 island returned in November 2023. It featured four new remix outfits celebrating Fortnite’s early years. The later Chapter 2 Remix event offered a separate five-outfit collection in November 2024.
Neither pass is the same as the original Battle Passes from years before. These were nostalgic events with new cosmetics, not a reissue of old limited-time rewards. Browse both complete lineups below and see the historical island maps associated with each return.

Fortnite OG Pass: The original 2023 collection
The 2023 OG Pass was a compact tribute to Chapter 1. It gave players new cosmetics whose designs borrowed elements from beloved older characters, but unlocking a tribute never unlocked the original. That is particularly important for Black Knight, Omega and Ragnarok, whose historical Battle Pass versions had their own reward conditions.
Fortnite OG Pass: How Chapter 2 Remix differed
The 2024 Remix Pass celebrated Apollo rather than the Chapter 1 island. Its five new outfits came from the story and cast of the original Chapter 2 seasons, especially the Agency era. The remixed looks are separate cosmetics from the older rewards and should never be described as the same skin.
Fortnite OG Pass: Where the special seasons fit
The first OG event came after Chapter 4 Season 4 and before Chapter 5 Underground. The Chapter 2 Remix event arrived a year later after Chapter 5 Absolute Doom. Those dates matter because neither event should be numbered as another original season from the earlier chapters.
Fortnite OG Pass: Comparing with the classic outfits
The original Chapter 1 passes rewarded characters such as Black Knight, The Reaper, Omega and Ragnarok. Chapter 2 later added Midas, Meowscles, Skye and the Marvel roster. Our chapter collections show those earlier rewards alongside their original map histories, making the differences from the later remixes much easier to recognise.
Fortnite OG Pass: Why collectors care
A player who owns Omegarok might never have unlocked the original Omega or Ragnarok. Owning Meowdas does not mean owning the Chapter 2 Midas reward. Similar artwork can prompt nostalgic memories without reproducing the same reward. Always keep the design and release history separate when discussing rarity.
Fortnite OG Pass: What happened next
Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 continued with their own numbered passes, while additional short seasons such as Galactic Battle and Springfield offered separate progression systems. Those deserve their own verified sections of Fortnite history rather than being bundled into this OG comparison.
Fortnite OG Pass: More season history
The map archive shows the first islands and their special returns, while the trailer library lets you revisit the reveal videos. The central Battle Pass history hub connects those collections with the original season reward lists and the other chapter guides.
