Fisch Hex Energy is the Halloween progression currency earned by offering Witch’s Ingredients to Beatrix’s Cauldron during FischFright 3. It unlocks the Eldritch Rod at ten energy and leads to dozens of rewards, including the Omniscient Bone, Plush Nessie, boats, bait and cosmetics. You’ll need to complete Goblin challenges around the main sea to gather most of the ingredients.
Beatrix has five Fisch Hex Energy stages, with later stages requiring a percentage of the Halloween Bestiary to be completed. This guide explains how the cauldron works, which ingredients are worth one to five energy, every fixed reward milestone from 1 to 1,000, and what to save before starting the Cemetery rituals.
Where to find Beatrix and start earning Fisch Hex Energy
From the eastern dock at Moosewood, board the green Flying Dutchman and sail to Caustic Hallow. Beatrix stands by a bubbling cauldron beside the large tree in the central part of the island. Approach her and choose Offer Ingredient to submit a single eligible item or Offer All Ingredients to deposit the whole eligible batch. Each contribution increases your cumulative energy and can award C$ and Treats as well.
You gain Fisch Hex Energy from Witch’s Ingredients dropped by Goblin challenges. Every few minutes, Goblins appear at announced islands such as Moosewood, Roslit Bay and Snowcap. Their tasks range from catching fish to emotes, jumps and short quizzes. Complete the objective before it expires, collect the ingredient reward and return to Beatrix when you have enough supplies for the next milestone.

For example, ten Dirty Candy Corn give ten Fisch Hex Energy, while two Raven Feathers and a Crushed Bone reach the same total with just three ingredients. The cauldron counts the energy value, not the number of items. Harder Goblin challenges offer better chances at high-value materials. However, Dark Art Skulls are also needed for Skeleton Hands and advanced rituals, so don’t use the last one to make a cauldron milestone arrive sooner.

Each stage has a minimum Bestiary completion percentage. If you have enough Fisch Hex Energy but aren’t entering the next stage, check the number of unique Halloween entries you’ve caught. Stage V requires 80% completion and allows you to progress towards late event items. Those Bestiary gates make the cauldron a collection challenge as well as a Goblin challenge.

The table lists every fixed cumulative milestone currently reported for the 2026 cauldron. Milestones don’t reset as you progress: the same Fisch Hex Energy total continues climbing through all five stages. The Eldritch Rod comes very early, but Omniscient Bone and Plush Nessie require hundreds more points and may take repeated Goblin runs.

Some guides also mention repeatable bait and relic rewards at higher Fisch Hex Energy totals. These are separate from the fixed milestone track above, so use the cauldron’s visible reward panel to confirm repeatable drops. The fixed prizes to protect if you’re completing every rod are Omniscient Bone at 350 and Plush Nessie at 470. Both are offerings for Frankenstein’s Omniscient ritual, not just collectibles for selling.
How to unlock Eldritch Rod at ten Fisch Hex Energy
The Eldritch Rod is the first major cauldron prize. Offer ingredients worth ten energy, then speak to Beatrix and check the reward notification as Hex Stage I finishes. The rod should appear in your Fishing Rods inventory without a separate Treats purchase. Some guides call it the Level 11 reward because the stage changes after the tenth energy contribution. Check the reward itself rather than spending more ingredients merely to reach a particular label.

Reaching Stage V is part of the Omniscient Spinecaster progression, so the early rod is only the beginning of the system.
Which Witch’s Ingredients should you save?
Before contributing everything for Fisch Hex Energy, reserve ten Witch’s Ingredients for the Youngster Goblin if you haven’t completed Boglin Branch. Fastest way to farm Fisch Hex Energy
Watch the server spawn banner, travel to the announced Goblin, finish its task and repeat whenever another Goblin appears. Use a quick boat and keep a suitable fishing rod equipped. In the time between spawns, work on the Caustic Hallow houses, Pumpkin King and missing Bestiary fish. Once you have several common ingredients, return to Beatrix and submit them in one trip rather than making the ferry journey after every challenge.
The Fisch Hex Energy total carries over between trips. Completing several Goblin tasks in the regular sea before returning with a batch cuts down the repeated ferry journeys. Why isn’t my Hex Energy increasing or unlocking rewards?
First, check whether the item is a valid Witch’s Ingredient rather than an unrelated Halloween fish. Next, check your current total and Bestiary percentage. The new stage may require more unique event catches even after you’ve submitted the necessary energy. If you’re missing the Eldritch Rod despite reaching ten energy, reopen the rod inventory and talk to Beatrix to confirm the milestone.
For expensive rewards such as Plush Nessie, keep the Fisch Hex Energy milestone visible in the cauldron menu so you know how much remains. Preserving rare ritual items and building the Bestiary alongside the Goblin grind prevents the most common progression delays.
