Fisch Trick or Treat is one of the main activities in FischFright 3, allowing you to knock at sixteen numbered houses across Caustic Hallow for Halloween Treats and event fish. Equip the Candy Bucket, visit each house and choose the Treat option for a reward. Visiting all sixteen unique doors is also a requirement for Webby Winston’s Webweaver Rod quest, so keeping track of their numbers saves a lot of time.
All sixteen Fisch Trick or Treat houses have different GPS coordinates, and several are hidden on hillsides or behind larger landmarks. This guide includes the complete house list, the Candy Bucket instructions, a route through the village, the available rewards and fixes when a door doesn’t count towards Winston’s counter.
How to start Fisch Trick or Treat in FischFright 3
For Fisch Trick or Treat, Go to Moosewood’s eastern beach, board the green Flying Dutchman and speak to its captain to sail to Caustic Hallow. When you arrive near the village fountain, the game adds a Candy Bucket to your inventory. Put it into your taskbar and equip it in your hand before approaching a numbered Halloween house. Press the interaction key at the door and choose Treat when the prompt appears.
You don’t have to complete a separate Candy Bucket quest to begin Fisch Trick or Treat. However, if you want the sixteen doors to advance Webby Winston’s objective, accept that quest first. He waits at Webridden Cavern near GPS -15069, 142, -9981. Speak to him to start the three-part Webweaver Rod quest, then make your house circuit with its 0/16 tracker active.

For Fisch Trick or Treat, Follow the table in order to make one complete Fisch Trick or Treat circuit. There are six houses around the bridge and signpost, several more along the village and Merchant road, one beside the Scarecrow Maze, and three near Pumpkin Pete’s patch. Look for each three-digit house number on the door rather than guessing based on an identical-looking wall or roof.
Best walking route for the sixteen houses
For Fisch Trick or Treat, Start at the fountain and take the path towards the bridge and three-way signpost. Visit 293 on the hill, then 506, 167, 374 and 111. Climb to 632 overlooking the signpost, then continue through the road to 745 and 429. Most of those doors are close together, so you can cover the opening stretch without backtracking.
Continue past the pumpkin cart to 891, then 477, and follow the Merchant road towards 666. Cross towards 979 and climb to the edge of the Scarecrow’s Maze for 813, which is easy to miss because it’s away from the main row of houses. You don’t have to enter the maze to knock on this door; stay on the outside path until you see its plaque.
Finish the Fisch Trick or Treat run at the Pumpkin Patch. House 249 is by Pumpkin Pete, 358 is to his left and 467 sits behind the large Pumpkin King statue. Some guides have confused the number 358 with 355, but the recorded 2026 door number is 358. Make sure all sixteen distinct numbers have been ticked off before returning to Webby Winston.
How the Candy Bucket and house cooldowns work
The Candy Bucket must be actively equipped. If you approach a house while holding a fishing rod, the interaction may say that you need to hold out your bucket. Switch to the bucket and interact again. Once a house has paid out, it has a cooldown before you can claim another reward. Visiting other numbered doors is more effective than waiting at the same doorway.
For Fisch Trick or Treat quest progression, the sixteen-house counter is based on unique door visits. Returning to house 293 after its cooldown may generate another normal reward, but it doesn’t count as a new house towards Winston’s objective. Fisch Trick or Treat rewards: Treats, fish and rare prizes
Choosing Treat usually awards Halloween Treats, the currency used by the Flying Dutchman Merchant. Some houses can also reward FischFright event fish, which helps you fill the limited Bestiary. Reports describe ordinary Treat payouts in the region of 15–30 for a successful door, although special results can differ. Plush Nessie is among the rare event fish reported from trick-or-treating, but it has a very small chance and is not a guaranteed house reward.
The alternative Trick selection is a gamble. Event guides report an opportunity for a larger Treat reward, with a failed outcome potentially costing ordinary C$ and triggering a scare. If your priority is accumulating steady event currency, the Treat choice is the safer route. Completing the village circuit also contributes to Pumpkin Pete’s objectives, so you can advance his quest while collecting rewards.
How Fisch Trick or Treat unlocks the Webweaver Rod
Webby Winston in Webridden Cavern asks for three things: knock on all sixteen unique houses, catch fifteen Cobweb Cod and catch ten Webbed-mutated fish in the cavern. The house counter should rise by one per unique door after his quest has started. Completing all three objectives awards Treats and opens access to Webweaver Rod, which costs 1,000 Treats at its pillar.
Because the Fisch Trick or Treat route rewards Treats, completing that first requirement also helps pay for the rod. You can combine it with the five door knocks Pumpkin Pete asks for and the Scarecrow’s request for five Treats. That makes it useful to pick up multiple NPC quests before beginning the door circuit rather than repeating it for separate counters.
Why isn’t my Fisch Trick or Treat quest counter increasing?
First confirm that you’ve spoken to Winston and accepted his quest. Next, check that you’re holding the Candy Bucket during the door interaction and that you’ve reached a numbered house you haven’t visited for this objective. House 813 near the maze, 467 behind the statue and 632 on the hill are easy to overlook. Look at the Quest Book after each questionable house to see whether the count changes.
If you’re at 15/16, compare the complete list of numbers with the doors you’ve already checked. Without checking the house numbers, it’s easy to walk past the same missing door twice.
