Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight is the two-stage final encounter in Enshrouded 1.0, at Mother Flame’s Domicile in the Ancient Citadel. First you face the humanoid Champion of the Shroud, then the enormous Wanderer’s Vessel. Both forms use frost and Shroud attacks, while both are weak to Fire damage.
Don’t treat the first health bar as the end of the battle. Here are the attacks to dodge, the best damage types, and the items you need to loot for the final Flame upgrade.
Preparing for the Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight
Finish the Cinders Of The End approach through the Sky Islands and activate the Cinder’s Cradle – Citadel teleporter at the bridge before fighting the final boss. Bring healing, stamina and health food, frost protection and upgraded weapons. The second phase lasts long enough that you’ll want supplies left after the first.
Game-file damage data confirms 120% effectiveness for Fire, compared with ordinary effectiveness for Cutting, Piercing, Blunt, Ice and Shock. Both forms are immune to Shroud damage. Fireball III and quick wand attacks are useful ranged options, especially for players who want enough room to dodge.
Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight phase one: Champion of the Shroud
The first form is a humanoid carrying an ice greatsword. He lunges, slams the ground, sends out frost shockwaves and summons Shroud wraiths. A purple energy charge signals a horizontal beam; move to the side or roll through its sweep rather than standing in its path.
When blue-green mist covers floor panels, move away before ice columns erupt. The blue Shroud tentacles are another hazard: some wand shots appear ineffective against them in tested footage. Try Fireball III or retreat until they subside.

During the Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight opening form, a pause with the sword raised and a glowing healing channel is a damage opportunity. Strike during that window, but save stamina for the next dodge. Summoned enemies make standing still risky even when the boss himself is momentarily passive.
Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight phase two: the Wanderer’s Vessel
The huge second form appears after the Champion’s health reaches zero. The arena darkens, a Shroud timer appears and the boss fills much of the rooftop. Watch for sweeping blue attacks, purple projectiles, ground eruptions, large shockwave slams and summoned wraiths.
Roll away or through a blue sweep, move sideways when a purple orb charges, and step off glowing patches before the ground erupts. Twin beams leave a gap that you can move through. Updrafts near the walls can give you temporary escape height, but the ledges aren’t permanently safe from tentacles or enemies.

For this part of the Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight, short mid-range attacks during recovery windows are safer than a long cast right before another slam. Move continuously, heal when the boss finishes a large attack and deal with wraiths if they’re crowding your escape route.
Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight: Fire weakness and co-op scaling
Both forms take extra Fire damage and no Shroud damage, which makes Shroud-centric attacks a poor choice. Game-file data also indicates about 70% additional boss health per extra player. A group should avoid clustering in the same beam path and coordinate healing and wraith control instead of expecting a solo-sized health pool.
The first humanoid form can be backstabbed, while the giant Wanderer’s Vessel cannot. That makes the opening phase more suitable for careful close-range pressure and the second better for keeping distance between attacks.
Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight rewards
The first phase drops nothing, so save room in your inventory for the loot from the second form. The Wanderer’s Vessel has a confirmed game-file drop table of Vorgoth’s Eye, two to three Vorgoth’s Bound Essence, 25–35 Legendary Runes and the Shroud Vessel’s Greatsword. The Eye and at least one Essence are needed for Flame Level 11, while additional Essence unlocks Ancient Researcher crafting.
The Cinders Of The End quest also rewards Vorgoth’s Soulbound Crown, Vorgoth’s Soulbound Gloves and 3,200 XP. Loot the boss before using the Mother Flame altar at the end. That final altar interaction triggers the credits and officially completes the quest.
Why the Enshrouded Vorgoth Boss Fight won’t finish
If Champion of the Shroud dies but the objective remains, you still need to beat the Wanderer’s Vessel. If both are dead but the main quest has not completed, interact with the Mother Flame altar on the rooftop. After a death, return via the Citadel teleporter instead of repeating the entire floating-island climb.
