The NieR Automata skins launched in Dead by Daylight on October 6, 2026, adding 2B, A2 and Emil as outfits for existing characters. The 2B costume belongs to Feng Min, A2 belongs to Yui Kimura, and Emil belongs to The Legion. None is a new playable character.
Two of the outfits are Legendary with extra voice and menu presentation, while Emil is Very Rare. Here are their individual Auric Cell prices, where to find them and what the collection’s portraits and Pod 042 charm mean before you buy.
NieR Automata skins: all three prices
| Outfit | Character | Rarity | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2B | Feng Min | Legendary | 1,485 Auric Cells |
| A2 | Yui Kimura | Legendary | 1,485 Auric Cells |
| Emil | The Legion | Very Rare | 1,080 Auric Cells |
Buying all three NieR Automata skins individually comes to 4,050 Auric Cells at the reported launch prices. Check the live Store before paying, because offers can change and a discounted collection bundle hasn’t been verified.
How to get 2B in Dead by Daylight
- Open the Dead by Daylight Store.
- Find the NieR:Automata Collection or open Feng Min’s cosmetics.
- Choose the 2B Legendary outfit and check the current price.
- Buy the outfit and equip it while playing Feng Min.
2B changes Feng Min’s look and character presentation, including the voice and lobby features of this Legendary crossover outfit. She still uses Feng Min’s Survivor progression and perks; you won’t unlock a fourth crossover Survivor by buying the costume.
How to get A2 for Yui Kimura
A2 is another Legendary outfit from the NieR Automata skins collection. Find the A2 item in Yui Kimura’s cosmetic Store, inspect its reported 1,485 Auric Cell price and buy it. Select Yui to equip the appearance.
A2 has additional voice lines and menu presentation, but she remains Yui rather than a standalone playable character. The outfit won’t appear in Feng Min’s wardrobe: the crossover characters are tied to their assigned Survivors.
How to get Emil for The Legion
The Emil outfit belongs to The Legion, making it the Killer option among the NieR Automata skins. It’s a Very Rare outfit priced at a reported 1,080 Auric Cells. Find Emil under The Legion’s cosmetics or in the crossover collection, buy it and equip the outfit when selecting the Killer.
Emil doesn’t add a new Killer power or a separate character slot. It’s also a different rarity from the Legendary Survivor outfits, so don’t assume all of 2B and A2’s added presentation features come with Emil.
Which NieR Automata skins have unique voice lines?
The Legendary 2B and A2 outfits have special character presentation, including voice lines and menu animations. Their additional effects are cosmetic; neither outfit introduces unique perks. Emil is classified as Very Rare rather than Legendary.
How to get the Pod 042 charm
The crossover also features a Pod 042 charm. Check the collection’s Store details for its own current listing or claim condition. The confirmed collection announcement doesn’t establish that purchasing just one of the three costumes automatically awards the charm, so check the item description before paying.
What are the two Legendary portraits?
The collection adds two portraits matching 2B and A2. Those go with the Legendary appearances for Feng Min and Yui Kimura, rather than being portraits for newly added Survivor slots. Preview the outfits and their presentation in the Store to see the available cosmetic changes.
Is there a bundle for all NieR Automata skins?
A discounted all-in-one purchase hasn’t been verified. The three individual costs add up to 4,050 Auric Cells. If your Store lists a promotional bundle, check the price and exact contents rather than assuming it includes both portraits or Pod 042.
Are the NieR Automata skins free?
2B, A2 and Emil are Auric Cell Store outfits. There is no verified event challenge that unlocks the entire crossover for free. Separate rewards from other Dead by Daylight events don’t replace the purchase requirement.
If you’re only buying one of the NieR Automata skins, choose by character: Feng Min for 2B, Yui Kimura for A2, and The Legion for Emil. Each costume is equipped through its existing character, so you can use your normal builds straight away.
