Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: All Skins, Masks and Cosmetics

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards include two major quest outfits, Survivor Halloween shirts, three new Killer masks and a wider pool of charms, badges, banners and event cosmetics bought with Dark Trinkets. The 2026 event runs from October 13 to November 3.

The most important distinction is how the rewards are earned. Shane Wiigwaas and The Hillbilly are tied to quest completion milestones, while Dark Trinkets are used on the seasonal cosmetic pool.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: How the Shane Wiigwaas outfit is earned

Shane’s Halloween outfit is one of the major Event Quest completion prizes.

That means it is not simply bought from the Store with Auric Cells. Progress the event quest track and watch the completion milestones rather than looking for it in the normal cosmetic shop.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: How the Hillbilly outfit is earned

The Hillbilly also receives a full quest-completion outfit.

Players who mainly play Survivor should still check the event completion track because the largest rewards are tied to overall quest progress rather than only one side’s shop.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: Killer masks

The Trapper, The Unknown and The Singularity are the three Killers currently listed for new masks.

These are separate from premium Halloween Store collections, so do not assume every spooky cosmetic shown during October requires Auric Cells.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: Survivor shirts

Current October event coverage identifies Sable Ward and Jeff Johansen for the new Skeleton Shirts.

Because the event reward page was still being populated before launch, check the live reward track on October 13 for the final in-game names and any additional shirt assignments.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: Dark Trinket cosmetics

Dark Trinkets are spent on the Haunted by Daylight cosmetic collection, including Halloween-themed items, charms, badges and banners.

You earn the currency through Event Quests, so cosmetics that use Dark Trinkets are part of the gameplay progression rather than direct Store purchases.

Dead by Daylight Haunted by Daylight Rewards: One-time Dark Trinket login reward

The current event data includes a one-time login reward of 100 Dark Trinkets.

That gives you an immediate balance to start the cosmetic track before completing the first batch of quests.

Daily login rewards

Messages from The Fog return with daily rewards. Ordinary days can award Bloodpoints, while the first event day and Halloween itself have larger reward packages.

Even if you are not planning a full session, opening the game during the event can still be worth the minute it takes to claim the message.

Premium Halloween cosmetics are separate

October also brings Store collections such as the Diablo crossover and additional seasonal outfits.

Those are not the same as the Haunted by Daylight earnable reward track. A Diablo skin does not use Dark Trinkets simply because it releases during the Halloween period.

What to unlock first

  • Prioritise quest milestones if you want the Shane Wiigwaas or Hillbilly outfit.
  • Use Dark Trinkets on limited cosmetics you would actually equip before cleaning up minor items.
  • Claim the one-time 100 Dark Trinkets as soon as the event starts.
  • Check daily Messages from The Fog for free login rewards.
  • Do not confuse premium Store collections with free Haunted by Daylight unlocks.

For currency farming, see Dead by Daylight Dark Trinkets.

What to check on the first day

Open the live event reward track before spending anything and confirm which cosmetics are Dark Trinket purchases and which sit behind quest milestones.

That prevents you from saving currency for an outfit that is actually earned through completion progress instead.
