The Lee Enfield comes with a listed 10-round magazine and a 1907 Bayonet. The Luger has an 8-round magazine, while the MP-18 includes a 32-round drum. SCR16 is also named in the Badlands launch patch, without a separate magazine capacity specified in that list.
The patch notes also add a golden revolver and shortened revolver, alongside a golden KA-M and matching golden 30-round and drum magazines. A dark intricate KA-M buttstock and handguard are listed too, expanding the visual options for that rifle.
Where do DayZ Badlands new weapons spawn?
The DayZ Badlands new weapons are confirmed for the expansion, but Bohemia’s public 1.30 launch notes do not publish a reliable building-by-building loot table, exact weapon rarity or guaranteed ammunition location for Nasdara. An item appearing in a patch list is not proof it always spawns in a particular military base.
Search appropriate in-game loot locations and inspect what you actually find. If another player claims that one bunker always contains a Lee Enfield, that needs current gameplay verification. The new Morse Code bunker system opens another route to loot, but Bohemia hasn’t confirmed a weapon-specific reward for each bunker.
It’s worth knowing what each item is called before you go looking. That helps you recognise a find without sending you towards a building where nobody has confirmed the weapon can spawn.
Are DayZ Badlands new weapons part of the free 1.30 update?
Badlands is a paid expansion with the Nasdara terrain, but update 1.30 also adds base-game features across the existing maps. Those include the Jana 50 and Bitrak 682 motorcycles, improvements to infected attacks and colour variants for selected existing firearms.
The Badlands Expansion section names the Lee Enfield, Luger, SCR16 and MP-18. Motorcycles are listed separately as part of the general 1.30 update. You can use them on supported base-game maps without needing access to Nasdara.

The Dobermann and German Shepherd each have four listed variants. Bohemia describes territorial dogs guarding the grounds of their former owners alongside the infected, so approaching abandoned homes is not necessarily safe.
The Desert Monitor provides meat and skin, while the Mouflon provides a pelt. Round Goby and Catfish expand the local fish selection. These are useful names to recognise when looking for food or materials on Nasdara, but they are not a map of exact hunting or fishing spots.
How to prepare for wildlife encounters
Carry suitable gear before approaching a deserted settlement or hunting ground. Dogs may protect former owners’ property, while the heat and limited water supply can become a problem during a long hunt. The Badlands diseases guide covers environmental hazards, and wells provide a source of water.
Don’t assume each animal listed in the patch notes has one guaranteed fixed spawn or that every kill produces the same amount of food. Bohemia confirms the species and certain resources, not per-location spawning percentages or exact yields.
Are there other new items in Badlands?
Yes. The October patch also names a Rifle Case and keys, multiple melee weapons including the Doner Knife and Jambiya, desert clothing, Dust Goggles, a Keffiyeh and a Waterskin. They help give Nasdara a different set of survival and looting decisions from the other maps.
