The Chasm Stalker Rod in Fisch is the major endgame equipment reward attached to Mariana’s Awakening. It does not come from a normal island shop at the start of the update: you first need to unlock the Obsidian Trench, progress through its content and defeat Skolopendra before the rod becomes available. That makes the Chasm-Stalker…

The Fisch Marianas Awakening Gauntlets are five progression items earned from Vaelor’s descendants across the existing Mariana’s Veil layers. You need the gauntlets from Ignis, Glacius, Tenebris, Luminis and Resonus before the new Obsidian Trench progression can be completed. Each descendant gives a layer-specific mutation quest rather than simply asking you to hand over an…

The Fisch Marianas Awakening Update is live and turns the old Mariana’s Veil progression into a much larger endgame quest. The headline addition is the Obsidian Trench, but reaching it now requires five descendant quests, five gauntlets, the Crevice Wall puzzle and a layer-gem sequence. Once inside, the Fisch Marianas Awakening Update adds Trench Suppression,…

If you’re trying to unlock the Obsidian Trench in Fisch, you now need to work through the full Mariana’s Awakening progression rather than simply travelling to a new entrance. The quest starts with Vaelor at Roslit Bay and sends you back through all five existing Mariana’s Veil layers before the Abyss Gate will open. The…

The Ignis Quest in Fisch is one of the five descendant tasks required for Mariana’s Awakening and the Obsidian Trench. Ignis is found in Volcanic Vents, where the quest uses the layer’s own rod and newly added mutated fish rather than generic catches. Completing the Ignis Quest in Fisch awards the Volcanic Gauntlets. You need…

The Glacius Quest in Fisch is one of the five descendant tasks required for Mariana’s Awakening and the Obsidian Trench. Glacius is found in Challenger’s Deep, where the quest uses the layer’s own rod and newly added mutated fish rather than generic catches. Completing the Glacius Quest in Fisch awards the Challenger’s Gauntlet. You need…

The Tenebris Quest in Fisch is one of the five descendant tasks required for Mariana’s Awakening and the Obsidian Trench. Tenebris is found in Abyssal Zenith, where the quest uses the layer’s own rod and newly added mutated fish rather than generic catches. Completing the Tenebris Quest in Fisch awards the Abyssal Gauntlet. You need…

The Fisch Obsidian Trench Bestiary contains 12 new catches inside the deepest Mariana’s Veil layer, while Mariana’s Awakening adds another 10 species throughout the five existing layers. That gives the update 22 new species overall. Ten of the 12 entries in the Fisch Obsidian Trench Bestiary are already named, while two hidden catches remain undisclosed…

Skolopendra in Fisch is the major boss encounter introduced with Mariana’s Awakening, but it does not appear the moment you enter the Obsidian Trench. The current trigger is tied to repeated Veiled Charybdis catches inside the trench. To awaken Skolopendra in Fisch, catch roughly four to six Veiled Charybdis. As you complete enough encounters, the…

Veiled Charybdis in Fisch is a special Mariana’s Awakening fishing encounter found inside the Obsidian Trench. It matters for more than bestiary progress because repeated Charybdis catches are also the trigger used to awaken Skolopendra. The difficult part about Veiled Charybdis in Fisch is its reeling sequence. Whirlpools can interfere with rod control during the…

Trench Suppression in Fisch is the environmental debuff that activates when you enter the Obsidian Trench during Mariana’s Awakening. It makes the new layer more dangerous and is designed to stop players from treating the trench like an ordinary safe fishing pool. The direct way to manage Trench Suppression in Fisch is to find the…
